  1. This thread is literal torture. This is too good to be true, what's the catch?
  2. I just finished Is This Seat Taken?, and it's an addictive puzzle game about something we've all experienced: the anxiety of choosing a seat on public transport. The concept is super simple but incredibly clever: you find yourself in a bus, a train, a cinema, etc..., and you have to seat these little characters while respecting everyone's preferences. Between the guy blasting music without headphones, or the one who absolutely wants a window seat but refuses to sit next to someone who smells bad, it quickly turns into a real social engineering puzzle. The story and dialogues are pretty light, it’s truly a relaxing game. Difficulty wise, there are a few levels where you really have to use your brain, but it’s nothing insurmountable. It’s short, chill, funny, and rewarding. Highly recommend!
  3. It’s the year of photography for me! After playing Viewfinder, here I am on Umurangi Generation, a title with a very simple concept: you explore small areas in a dystopian cyberpunk future to complete photo missions. There's no action or game over here, photography is the sole gameplay element. It’s a very chill game, where you have about ten objectives per zone (like photographing a "kiwi" or hunting for the 9 film canisters, etc..), which forces you to look at every single corner of the environment and sharpen your eye. I had a great time, and the OST is very, very cool!
  4. Wait, what?! That really sucks! And to think they bought Nixxes Software in 2021 specifically for PC ports...and it's already over 😕
  5. I'll wait four years hoping to see a PC port 🥲🤞
  6. I just finished Viewfinder and honestly, it’s just really nice to play something so original. The concept of taking a 2D photo and stepping into it as a 3D space is very nice. It immediately reminded me of Superliminal in terms of originality, especially with how both games constantly play around with perspective and optical illusions to warp reality. That being said, the game isn't perfect. I found it relatively simple overall, the dialogues weren't anything fantastic, and I felt like they could have pushed the concept a bit further. But honestly, the sheer creativity of the mechanics makes up for it. Plus, it's pretty short to finish, so you don't really have time to get bored or tired of it.
  7. Just finished ASTLIBRA Revision(86h wihout DLC) and honestly, I'm loved it. Don't let the retro look fool you, this game is an absolute masterpiece. The 2D hack-and-slash combat feels incredibly fluid, the progression loop is super addictive, There's a ton of content. It was made by a solo dev over 14 years and you can literally feel the passion behind it. Seriously, if you love ARPG with plot twists and banger soundtracks, do yourself a favor and try it.

  13. Hello, I have a question that might be a bit silly, but can I start playing Pillars of Eternity II before playing the first one ? Or it's better to start with the first one ?
