Big game tonight, I am torn about who to support because I like both countries. But Croatia are the underdogs, and they have never won the WC, so Im going to support them ⚽

Strange penalty there, I guess the keeper is to dive out of the way if a striker just runs at them.

Game over anyway.

After all the games by Argentina so far? Croatia just needs to wait until they stop playing around 75 minutes in to the game, then score from nowhere. :p

No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

You're the 3rd person to tell me that  Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment 😛

You're not wrong, after all, Argetina managed to pull through all of their weak phases in some way. Well, we'll see how it goes.

Except they were not playing against Brazil this time.

If France gets to final, they're going to concede about 4 penalties.

Well done to Argentina on the convincing victory, Croatia can be proud to get into the semi-finals but the better team won

I'm more of a Gruyère fan (nope, no Haute Couture cheese tastes here) 😝

I checked the news and saw Argentina being one finalist. Is France the other?

(I really didn't follow the WC this time around)

We will know tonight :dancing:

Gruyere is a Swiss cheese and it is delicious, its great in cooking and even better when melted which is why its often used in Cheese Fondue. Also if you ever make a normal cheese sauce Gruyere adds nice richness

But going back to Roquefort. I have eaten all blue cheeses but Roquefort is my favorite...I know I should consider  Stilton  my favorite but I dont 🧀

Do you know Roquefort use to historically  only come from a  series of caves in France where  this  mold creates the unique and scrumptious taste . Now the mold can be created in French labs which helps with mass production

I grew up in Denmark. A country that has more blue cheese variants (and cheeses in general whether Bries, sliced cheese or Feta variants) than you can shake a stick at 😋

Very tasty and all natural. Stacking up quite well to the foreign competition, including those snobby French wannabe cheese makers. As it was said in Life of Brian: Blessed are the Cheese makers 😁

They have nothing like the nutty flavours of Gruyère though 🤔

Edit: I remember our school class went and visited a cheese maker. It was the first time I tasted a 12 month "vintage" cheese, that crumbled between your fingers. A bit too salty for my liking as a child. Later I grew to appreciate it.

I don't like the taste or smell of vomit, and I have yet to experience a blue cheese that does not smell like the regurgitated contents of someone's stomach after a night of binge drinking and eating too much. Even accidentially just getting a minute amount of it in my mouth causes retching, like when it is on pizza and I do not notice it being there before taking a bite.

The only thing that's possibly worse than blue cheese is Olomouc cheese where the smell alone causes dry heaving. :x

I have no idea how anyone can eat that stuff.

Oh come on, blue cheese on toast, covered with maple syrup is divine! 👼

Is also good as a snack or a dessert 🤤
