Keyrock
I think the most shocking thing is that this is a numbered sequel and not Sonic: Retaliation or something. PK htiw klaw eriF
Nightmare Alley (2021) Very good. LadyCrimson
Rewatched Silverado the other day. Still one of my favorite ... light Western/Adventure? ... films. Just a fun little movie. And so many great folks in it. Even John Cleese in a small role as a sheriff. "Today, my jurisdiction, ends here....pick up my hat." ... I still laugh every time. Hurlshort
I kind of feel like the video game movie curse has faded a bit. We've had a number of solid movies based around games in recent years. Sonic, Pikachu and Wreck-it Ralph (albeit a fictional game) were all charming. Plus The Witcher is an excellent adaptation. Lexx
I liked how Uwe Boll made a joke about financing his movies with old german nazi gold in the Postal movie. Personally I think Postal is probably his best movie, because it's so dumb, you can't really do much wrong here. Also saw his Auschwitz movie at one point and it made me really angry, because of the way it's made .. can't really put it in words. I get what he was trying to do with showing the bleak and "realness" or whatever, but it just didn't worked and ended up feeling like some sort of concentration camp gore porn. It didn't even work on an art-level. It was just bad in every way. "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
