I will be probably buying Wasteland Remastered I have to many games already, so I can wait for W3 before the final decision will be made

Don't know if I'll buy anything (meh, who am I kidding? This being the year that I'd concentrate on my backlog is as much an annual thing as The Year of the Linux Desktop) but them stuffing up the banner advert for it in Galaxy so that it 'launched' in New Zealand 12 hours early was so very typically GOG.

I wonder if they fixed the unit count bug in the first one. Game hard-locked whenever there were more than 256 (I think it was 256) units on a map. Not an issue for the campaign, what with the ship cap being what it is, but in large multiplayer games one could reach the limit.

Someone mentioned this game on Codex yet   I had  never heard of it but it looks excellent, based on D&D 3.5 ruleset with lots of mechanics that look great. But I am sometimes fooled by hype and exaggerated gaming marketing so what do people think....anyone know anything about the development studio or this game ?

EDIT: I watched the video on the GOG link and now I am not sure it does look excellent

Even I had little negative to say about it, other than Terminal getting on my nerves. And that other guy being so bland and completely unmemorable, they might as well have called him generic dude with 'nades. He had a beard. I think.

I never finished Chimera Squad.  It was the game I was playing when my PC died, and I've had a combination grudge/fear of my computer dying again ever since (it wasn't the games fault, my power supply decided to fry my video card...this is not a rational feeling, just every time I think about playing it, I always find something else to play.)

I finished Chimera squad. Got it for free (thx Oner) so totally worth it for me.

It is fast, furious and simple and the plot is light enought to not distract. It has some cool features, like each squadmate is unique with own skills, and the battles are generally quick.

Wheel of Time released. Guess I probably ought to clarify WoT (1999), since there's meant to be a new game in (early) development.

Far better than it had any right to be really, and one of the more interesting Quake/ Unreal clones of the ~2000 glut.

Huh...the game may be good for what it is (I have no idea, I don't play FPS games), but I remember being insanely pissed after I bought it and it turned out to be a shooter.  I was expecting a game that actually made sense in the setting.

Admittedly, I probably should have done more research, but honestly...who makes an FPS out of a sword and sorcery high fantasy setting?
