But I also want to play a tanky MC with lots of engagements and damage potential. I thought that Brute would be a good compromise. 1. Can I be a good tank just using seven and armor to mitigate damage? 2. How does Brute rate in terms of damage compared to other tank multiclasses? How good is a wizard, the strongest class, in DLC? The strongest. 1TTFFSSE Posted August 23, 2018 Share Posted August 23, 2018 You can make pretty solid ai script for wizard just break it down to several blocks like -(deleterious alacrity)/ infuse with vital -> standard buffs -if threatened: mirror image/llengraths displaced / other soft defensives -if threatened and bloodied-> iron skinned time/ safeguards -if engaged in melee by multiple thugs->piercing sigil time -miscilenous stuff/ second wind potions and items -nuke stuff-> minolettas missile salvo, meteors and wilting wind sure single target is maybe technically not as high as some classes (marauder) but the marauder has to be pretty optimized because minolettas does so much damage. Now if there's any truth to it I don't know. The brute is very powerful (see willbreaker for an example) I just couldn't get into the brute; I found that the fanatic, marauder, or brawler was more fun (ofc that's a personal opinion).
