August 22, 20187 yr Hey guys. So, I really like the synergy between Old's Voulge and Carnage. But I also want to play a tanky MC with lots of engagements and damage potential. I thought that Brute would be a good compromise. 1. Can I be a good tank just using seven and armor to mitigate damage? 2. How does Brute rate in terms of damage compared to other tank multiclasses?
August 22, 20187 yr 1. Yes with Unbending, even a helwalker can tank with Unbending. 2. Honestly never played a Brute (I think), but on paper it looks solid. Especially if u go Devoted/Berserker.
August 22, 20187 yr It seems more, you should play the game with a solo MC, because you focus only on this. You are either good in AoE or good at single target, depending on class and weapons.

August 23, 20187 yr Well, we are getting off topic but this is my favorite topic so I will say my piece. How good is a wizard, the strongest class, in DLC? The strongest. Though almost everyone I saw plays Monks, Paladins, Fighters or Rogues and I can only guess its because nobody likes to be the strongest. ok tx bai
August 23, 20187 yr Wizards require micromanaging to be truly effective. Every other strong class can be played with AI scripts. Also, Wizards have inferior single-target damage options compared to weapon users (after the nerfs).
August 23, 20187 yr You can make pretty solid ai script for wizard just break it down to several blocks like -(deleterious alacrity)/ infuse with vital -> standard buffs -if threatened: mirror image/llengraths displaced / other soft defensives -if threatened and bloodied-> iron skinned time/ safeguards -if engaged in melee by multiple thugs->piercing sigil time -miscilenous stuff/ second wind potions and items -nuke stuff-> minolettas missile salvo, meteors and wilting wind sure single target is maybe technically not as high as some classes (marauder) but the marauder has to be pretty optimized because minolettas does so much damage. As long as wiz can stay alive he can nuke stuff faster than anyone else.
August 23, 20187 yr This looks like a good script to delete your own frontline with friendly fire don't matter if my meatshields are dead if the enemy is dead.

Now if there's any truth to it I don't know. I have little experience with a wizard BUT combusting wounds is just brokenly OP, after a few tics with wall of flame it's doing 52dmg per second Add a beam to it as well and it just gets insane Edited August 23, 20187 yr by Dorftek
August 23, 20187 yr You can tank w/ unbending easy. The brute is very powerful (see willbreaker for an example) I just couldn't get into the brute; I found that the fanatic, marauder, or brawler was more fun (ofc that's a personal opinion).
