Melusina Posted December 15, 2018 Author Posted December 15, 2018 (edited) Expeditions: Viking from GOG sale. Just could not resist to grow my backlog even more :-D Me too. Also bought Mulaka, Celestian Tales + Howl of Ravager. Edited December 15, 2018 by Melusina https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33102093/ - Picky Gamer Girl!
Katphood Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Bloodborne is reduced on the playstation store right now, so I bought it, even though I likely won't play it for a while yet. Buy the dlc as well, well worth it imo. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
Lexx Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Yes, bought this ultimate whatever package with everything included. I've started playing a bit, but forced me to stop, as I don't want to get into it too much right now. Have to say that I'm quite distracted since I bought the console with RDR2. 1 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
SonicMage117 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Bloodborne is $7.99 on amazon, you can save 50% off the PSN price, if you want. Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother? What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest. Begone! Lest I draw my nail...
Katphood Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Dishonored 2 & Dishonored 2: Death of the Outsider, both of them for the PS4. Are they any good?! I heard that the story sucks but I liked the first game so I thought why not. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
Fenixp Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Story sucks, but at least when it comes to Dishonored 2 itself, it contains some of the best level design I've ever seen in a videogame. That has to account for something, eh? 1
Katphood Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 That has to account for something, eh? It does. Come to think of it, the first game didn't have a superb story either but it had very interesting locations. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
Lexx Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Both games are awesome and I didn't felt like the story sucks. It's not the most original thing, but the setting is fresh. And yeah, the level design is awesome. Billie Lurk is a great character. Loved the style, the background, the relationship with Daud, etc... I really wouldn't mind another game with her. 2 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
SonicMage117 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 I agree with Lexx, the stories were good enough to enjky at least. Loved the art style, which was in all honesty what made the setting/locations so good. The clockwork mansion is a marvel for game level design in any way you look at it. There are very few games that have a huge mansion that completely changes per floor via individual gears and Dishonored 2 does these types of things the best. Corvo and Em are likable characters, just as likable as Geralt and Ciri. I love how much choice the game has for a non-rpg. It's definitely an fps first and foremost but simce the levels are so huge and you have literal freedom on approach thanks to good use of blink and elevation, it almost seems non-fps because it's not at all linear. I enjoyed it alot more than Metro games which people seem to be fond of here. Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother? What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest. Begone! Katphood Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 I enjoyed it alot more than Metro games which people seem to be fond of here. Now that you've mentioned it, good lord am I hyped for Metro: Exodus. That thing just looks...sexy! There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
SonicMage117 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 (edited) It really does, the night missions remind me of Shadow Of Mordor with the lighting, also you can burn carousine lamps Edited December 17, 2018 by SonicMage117 Just what do you think you're doing?! Katphood Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 -Metro: Exodus -Rage 2 -DOOM Eternal ... 2019 seems to be a good year for fps games. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.

Dishonored 2, just like Dishonored 1, is one of the best games I ever played. And this summer, having read books and comic books about the period between the two games, I appreciate the story in Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider even more. And yep, a few of the levels in Dishonored 2 are just insanely good. The time-warping level is perhaps the best in-game area + fresh mechanic, I've experienced. A true joy! 1 *** "The words of someone who feels ever more the ent among saplings when playing CRPGs" ***
wolfrider100 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 (edited) From Green Man Gaming's Holiday Sale I ended up getting ; - Dark Rose Valkyrie - The Complete Deluxe Set. - Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment. - Sword Art Online Lost Song. - Fallout 4 GOTY Edition. EDITED: I also bought two more things from Steam's Winter sale, I got both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Exoplanet: First Contact. Edited December 22, 2018 by wolfrider100 " Life... is strength. majestic Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Grabbed the Mega Man Collection and Mega Man 11 for the Switch. Already played and finished the first Mega Man. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.
Katphood Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 Far Cry 5 for the Xbone X. Sure, it is yet another Far Cry game but the game runs at native 4K and it looks pretty. I also like how this is the only Far Cry game with actual roads and cars instead of buggies and trucks. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
wolfrider100 Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 (edited) I ended up buying the Far Cry 5 Lost on Mar DLC and it's Deluxe Pack upgrade, cause they were both on sale on the Uplay Store. ShadySands Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 Pre-ordered MechWarrior 5. Hope it doesn't suck. Free games updated 3/4/21
SonicMage117 Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Anno 1800, the base edition - the deluxe edition doesn't seem to offer anything of real value and little is known about the dlc character that is included. Admittedly, ths will be my first Anno game, everything about it seems to tug at my heart strings - the industrial age, the srt style and it's got that semi-rpg laden track that reminds me of one of my favorite games (Sunless Seas). I have watched some friends play Anno games in the past but by the looks of it, this one seems to have something the others lacked - a meaningful time period perhaps? I don't know. All I know is that I couldn't help but hit the pee-odor button. Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? SonicMage117 Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Last game I bought was Brigador Brigador is the best mech game in years, even surpassed Mechwarrior and Steel Battalion. nany think It's a twin stick shooter at glance but it's more strategic than most mech games.
