When me and my friend completed the scorpion waves we were both down and it finished but they didn't appear in my inventory when I went back they weren't there and also when we recovered our backpacks they still weren't there and unfortunately I didn't save the game so I couldn't re do it. Any tips or are they completely lost?

I love the Omni-tool as an idea, but it's been tripping me up at a few instances. Trying to pick up an item, or worse yet an ally only for the Omni tool to get very interested in the nearby blade of grass just feels bad. There's other situations were it feels a bit yanky and awkward to use, but I feel that's probably the worst thing to happen. Is there any chance to get it as a single activatable item functioning more as the tools from game 1? I realize this is not going to be something everyone would want, so maybe have it as an option.

I wish the hotbar worked more like in Grounded 1. In particular my sticking points are that in the inventory screen you have to grab and drag an item before the toolbar shows up, while the space it appears in is already just empty space. I think it would be better to just always have it visible. If there's a toggle for that I've certainly missed it. I also very much miss having multiple toolbars that I could scroll through. I liked using a little bit of every weapon type and mix it up like that, but in the event a player doesn't feel like using every single weapon ever at all times there's also the far more reasonable example of having one bar set up for melee and one bar set up for ranged.

I never played Grounded before so a complete newbie at 62 years of age. The most annoying thing for me is having resources available for fires, lean to, torches and flag markers etc. My suggestion would be an adventurer pouch that was locked against emptying. Then you could have those resources available to you. The reason I say this is it takes a long time to reach areas and this would help people to be prepared for overnight stays etc.

Hi can we get a way to locate lost building blueprints like a hammer on the map or a way to clear the chopping list by deleting all blueprints in the world I've spent hours trying to find the items on my chopping list, I haven't even explored that much its like they aren't even on the map but the chopping list is saying otherwise, so if we can get a hammer on the map where blueprints have been placed that would help or even a clear chopping list option if some how they've glitch under the map to the point that they can't be found

How about going back over a few suggestions for construction? Personally, I'm a big fan of this one in grounded! We could start with locations or build. It would be nice to be able to build everywhere again, as we did in 1, using stumps and other elements of the scenery. Also, and I think this is the most interesting, why not build in the typical biome like frozen biome? - Imagine making a more risky chalet-like base with heaters and crackling paths to keep up with the spawn. Why not make the buildings have an insulation rating? To build in the hot biome too? - What if furniture, walls and other buildings could then be constructed using materials from these biomes? Burnt grass or frosted grass, which would produce different patterns? Dedicated buildings? Frosted chandelier or glowing fireplace? A machine for cooling and a charcoal chandelier for warming? Then, perhaps improved resource harvesting and transportation in large quantities! Firstly, buggies could follow us into icy biomes with the help of evercharde charcoal pouches that would allow them to accumulate a sufficient heat threshold to follow us! It would be nice if we could later have other buggies like the ant, but which allow us to harvest higher-level resources. Or allow the ant to harvest resources at the level of our omnitool? Why not add bags to them, for example? Or, to finish off equipment for buggys ? , make it possible for the ant to equip saddlebags to carry more resources, or attach a sled to it to support more rods. What do you think? Next, an idea for a building that's close to my heart. I'm putting it at the end, because I know it's far too specific to be interesting. I know this one will probably never be read, but I'd love a structure into which we could drop our buggies and watch them move. That would allow for buildings like ranches - it would be incredible! No ?

Im a huge fan of the game and somehow got a playtime of 100 something days of grounded 1, but yeah anyway i really like running daggers and the addition of having dual weild has been really cool, although i wouldve really liked to have in your strong hand a dagger and in your weak hand a different type of dagger, that way you got say a wolf spider dagger in one hand and in your other just say if it was a thing a scorpion dagger, that way your pushing out 2 different types of venom SUGGESTIONS me loving the poison and stealth bugs, would really love to see a JUMPING SPIDER, we already have the mantis that is perched on leaves and jump you from out of nowhere but imagine.. Litearly being jumped. By a jumping spider, not only is this a cool bug its a great oppourtunity for better armours and daggers. I would also love to see YELLOW JACKETS, we all know spears are cool but dont really push out enough damage and arnt to great with armour sets, so if you had a stinger off of a yellow jacket and turned that into a tier 4 or 5 stinger spear that deals out posion that would definetly get more use of spears Anyway really love the game dont mind the spelling, please blow this up or something like that because these are good and cools things that would be nice in grounded, also just thought it would be cool to be able to ride the jumping spider Thanks so much for this great game

I am stuck fighting the O.R.C. ****roach inside the Burg.L statue. I grinded so hard to get that spider mount just to get blocked by a flippin' GLITCH! 2 times I defeated the stupid thing and I kept trying to prolong my life with the candy bars but the sizzling never stopped. I ran out of the 23 candy bars i had. Ran out of the 32 bandages I had. burned up all the smoothies i had, no matter which one i used. I didnt have any sizzle armor on me not expecting this encounter but even then I was never really concerned with a roach fight. Its fine if you dont get hit but because the room is a stupid shape i run into corners cause im constantly backing away from the roach trying to avoid the acid pool he spits and eventually i get stuck on the corner of the walls cause theres like 20 corners in that area -,- and yea i cant get away from the acid pool in time to avoid it and kill the stupid thing cause of the confined area and yea the infinite sizzle has killed me more than once and its now pissing me off! FIX THIS. PRONTO. this is like suppppppper annoying to be held up on a REdonkulous glitch. -.- I'm totally loving the game which is why its pissing me off soo much that I cant get past this stupid roach thats bugged out making it almost invincible. it dies and still gets the last laugh every time.

So I love the soundtrack, and the ONYX-PRO thing is a cool way to enjoy the artbook and soundtrack, but I just want to be able to download the soundtrack so I can take it with me on runs, walks, rides, etc. And the ONYX-PRO doesn't let me do that. So if you could add it as a Steam Soundtrack that would be great!

Experience Playing and Suggestions! :)
jjcrysup posted a topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
For this game being a preview I already love it some much, and will be my game of the year whenever it fully releases. However there are some issues that I’ve experienced along the way. I hope optimization will come in the future because there are a lot of small things in the game that will make my game lag or crash. While rearranging and organizing my chests I crashed 7 times. I also have a newer series x so it’s not like the console shouldn’t be able to handle a game like this. I experience a lot of lag while sprinting through the grass on the buggies. I believe it’s because of how many blades of grass get moved, loading enemies, and loading parts of the map, but the game can’t handle it all at once. I also have an issue where my backpack would fall through the ground in random places when I would die. Not only from falling from height and dying but I would die fighting a bug and it was just be under the map. There are also many areas where you can access under the map if you walk through it on the right side. Some logs, rocks, and parts of the ground where it comes up and you can just slide through. I’ve fell through the map a couple of times accidentally running into some of these spots. Another issue is that snails are able to just move freely through builds. I have a base on the log that the frisbee is on and the snails has just passed through the foundation, floors, and walls like it’s a ghost. I’m done with the complaints, but now I have a few friendly suggestions. I hear a lot of my friends talk about a mosquito or a bee buggy, but I feel like there would be so many nests to keep up with you’d have to construct a big area just for all these buggies. I would really like it if there were buggies of the similar species but different. If there’s an already an ant nest why not add flying ants. A spider nest? Add a jumping spider in the game. I also would like if there were more bosses in this game. I understand the first game was a smaller area but I felt like there were less bosses. Like ants are big part of the game because they’re everywhere. Why not add an ant queen as a boss in one of the ant hills as maybe an early game boss. Maybe add a tiger swallowtail butterfly as a boss somewhere.-

First off, I just want to say Grounded 2 is amazing — I’m loving the world, the creatures, and all the little details. I really like how much more interactive and alive everything feels compared to the first game. One idea I had that could make gameplay even smoother: I think we should be able to pick up other kids’ backpacks, similar to how we can pick up weed stems, soldier ants egg, or even our solder ant could pick it up. For example, if a teammate’s backpack is in a tough spot, it would be great if another player could grab it and carry it back to them. I feel like this would make co-op teamwork even more fun and help in tricky situations, especially when a player keeps dying in a dangerous spot. Since we can already carry big items and creatures eggs, it seems like a natural extension of the current mechanics. Thanks for all your hard work on this game — I can’t wait to see where it goes!

It just so happens that I have a few ideas for grounded 2 buggy projects. It's up to you to tell me what you think. First of all, I'd like to say that the idea of making the game more rpg-accessible is a real pleasure in my eyes, and the class synergy is really nice. 4 classes is a good start, but why not add 1 or 2 more? A bard: the bard is a universal rpg class. How about a class that plays music and airs in the middle of a fight in order to chew up its team and debuff the enemy mob. Musical weapons created from cricket vocal chords, for example. Or instruments carved from natural elements to create weapons that don't necessarily require you to kill insects! An essentially multiplayer class, like the queen wasp's bow, which could be paired with her buggy in combat to be just as destructive solo. Summoners: a much underestimated class in grounded 1, thanks in particular to the numerous summoning trinkets and thorns, the latter could be a class suited to ranged combat, with a scepter to summon mobs of varying levels. Better still, a buggy dedicated to creature buffing could work in synergy with it. What's more, it would be interesting at level 3 to offer the possibility of summoning 2 buggys at the same time for combat. Finally, my addition. My favorite: I particularly like buggies. they're excellent and, depending on our class, offer incredible synergy possibilities. An insect that can take damage for the rogue, mage or bowman, and creatures with more access to damage for the warrior, summoner or bard ;). Here are my suggestions for these incredible insects: - How about, for example, customizing our buggies with armor, increasing their damage, life or transport capabilities. A buggy containing a cooking spit, for example, would be excellent? Then push the possibility of customization, this is due to my rpg fan side but what about introducing a skill tree for our dear mounts. They can die in difficult situations, so let's make it important to keep them alive, maintain them and make them fight, with an experience system that would allow them to win. Bonus attacks, unique skills or stat increases. Let's imagine an Orbweaver that could bite and poison, allowing the rogue to strike like a madman. Or an ant that could call on two workers in battle to help out without having to go looking for them? The possibilities are endless, so help us spread the word, even if it doesn't incorporate these ideas!

Bugs I came Across
Witcher Drenom posted a topic in Grounded 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello Grounded 2 Developers/Team, So far I am enjoying the game however there are a lot of bugs I came across while playing with my friend. One of those bugs among many other things (like graphics, lag and getting frozen even when not using high display settings, stuttering, and way to much bloom in certain areas.) I was using Pete and going back to our base and my entire screen and game crashed shortly after displaying all these options to place, close, recycle, looks like an option for zipline came up too, and that something was processing and inventory full on the UI. Please see my image below I am providing. I am hoping we get a stability, and optimization patch here soon.- 3 replies

Hello, I'm playing with a friend on his server (just us two). We logged out in our small base leaving the red ants both outside. Today I logged in again and my red ant buggy is no where to be found, his one was still there. It's still active when I press on T (on the buggy wheel). I can't call it (no whistle sound). I dont see it anywhere on the map. But it says it's still following me. My buddy got me a new red soldier ant egg, but now it says I have two. The first one is still no where to be found. I tried disconnect from the server (fully quit the game) and reconnect. I tried dying and respawning, we also tried sleeping and waking up, but nothing worked to get my first one back. I also don't see a way to abandon my first one, and calling it still doesn't work. First picture is before I got a new buggy. Still says it's following me. Can anyone help me solve this issue?

As truly excited for Grounded 2 as I am, I am hoping beyond hope for something to be added into the game by it's Devs. I realize that I may only be blowing air and what I am asking for most likely won't end up being put into the game, but a guy can dream can't he? I really like the whole 'Beast Master Job-Class' sort of vibe the game will have with allowing our mounts to fight along side us players. And in that same spirit, I would really like a specific type of mount to exist in the game. I tend to prefer playing as a 'Tank' type of fighter, with wearing the armor and trinket that makes me possess the highest possible physical and elemental defenses as I can obtain while wielding the highest damage dealing weapon there is in the game. However, this play style lacks a very crucial component that the first grounded game never had. That is, a pet or something similar (mount) that would have the ability to stand back from the combat and as you the player are in the process of combating an insectoid opponent, would periodically use an ability that would both heal your health a large percentage of your maximum health and bestow incredibly powerful physical and elemental defense buffs on you that would last until your current battle was completed. I don't mind if you have to make this companion incredibly difficult to obtain in-game, as long as you actually put it in the game to obtain. It would have to be something the player could obtain towards the beginning of the game though. It would not make much sense if we players only gained access to obtain this companion towards the end of our game playthrough once there wasn't much game left for us to enjoy using this companion for. Thank you for listening, keep up the amazing work.

The entire idea of being shrunk down is always a fascinating concept, especially when a whole game is built around it. I feel like this idea often gets overlooked or underutilized. One thing that could elevate the atmosphere is the addition of large-scale events or visuals that remind the player just how small they really are. For example, I think there should be an event where something massive appears in the distance, not necessarily destructive, but just there to set the scale. A great reference for this is how Dune handled the sandworm: something so huge and grounded in the world that its mere presence creates awe and tension. Grounded did this brilliantly with the crow in the first game. I’d love to see this concept expanded even further, perhaps a person walking by, or a pet exploring the far side of the yard, just visible in the distance. Whether or not the player can interact with them doesn’t matter; the sense of scale is what matters. Another environmental take could be a storm rolling in far away, thunder rumbling and trees swaying. Or even better, something underground stirring like dirt subtly shifting, hearing distant tremors, feeling the tension of something immense moving just out of view. Not an enemy or boss, just something alive and massive, reminding you how small you really are.
