Description: When starting a naval battle, the player character is always at the front. This is utterly game-breaking for some builds on PotD, and inconsequential on others. I've had to start a new play-through. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: Play a character, rearrange the party formation, then start a naval battle. How you set it up has no impact on how you load into the battle. Savegame: Can't attach, on a completely unrelated note, my save games just corrupted. Maybe because I have two characters with the same name? Not sure, gave up on that play-through anyways. Sytem Specs: Not related to the party formation issue. Screenshots: Can't load into it any more. But it's simple, MainChar, is in the front, should be in the back. Every time, no matter how I move them around.
I constantly move my party as one unit, in the default 2x2x2 formation, and I constantly see one of my back row characters "spazzing out" upon stopping. This mainly happens when the party is hugging a wall or turning a corner, although I've also seen it happen when I just move the formation a short distance and in a straight line. I can stop this annoying glitch by 'straightening' the formation or moving it forward a little bit, but this happens a LOT so it's an ongoing annoyance that kills immersion for me. I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing this so I did look for previous posts, but I couldn't find anything. (Probably due to inaccurate keyword searching, but I don't know else to describe this phenomenon other than 'spazzing out' or 'shaking'). Please let me know if you've noticed this happening also, or if you know how the issue can be improved or eliminated altogether. Thanks!
When entering the ruined house area (trying to stay spoiler free), I noticed that changing my custom formation had no effect on where my characters were spawned. The positioning of certain.... elements in the house made this problematic as I was unable to move certain weaker characters in a satisfactory amount of time. I found, however, that changing the portrait order on the bottom changed where characters were spawned upon entering the area. Any chance this could be amended to be clearer? Seems like there's some left hand and right hand disagreement.
