I thought of binding Belt of the Royal Cannoneer and Company Captain's Hat to Kana (to buff his stats, and also to prevent my main buffer from getting CCed to much - and Firebrand seems pretty dope), War Club to Eder and the One-Eyed Arbalest seems quite intriguing as well, since I adore Sagani a bit too much to not have 2 Rangers now until the end of time. Would Sagani or MC Ranger be good with an Arbalest (this one specifically) or am I better off going guns on one and Hunting Bows on the other? Edit: I have the bugfux for the One-Eyed Crossbow from the nexus installed.

Hey, looking for advise as I'm using Durance, Druid, & a 2H offtank-ish Paladin in my team. So there's these sulbound weapons.. Gyrd Háewanes Sténes: Will this fit Durance or Druid better? I do have Aloth in my party, but he's already using Golden Gaze & Summon Minor Blight wand. Stormcaller: Currently on my druid as he has Heart of the Storm(to boost his Wildstrike Shock) but sadly can't bind it. How is it as a ranged weapon for Grieving Mama? Abydon's Hammer: is it better than Tidefall on a 2H offtank Paladin?

I have the Gyrd Háewanes Sténes for my wizard. It stopped counting damage once it go to 1164 total damage. I'm using Windows 10, and the option to modify the install which might allow me to try to repair the game is greyed out. Is there a way to fix this? I'm thinking a reinstall will work, but I'm not sure.

So in the original Pillars i remember that all specializations work on soulbound weapons. so for instance you could use two weapon proficiency on a twohanded weapon to add 20% attack speed. I wanted to do the same thing with Lord Darryn's Voulge on my ravager. Do soulbound weapons still interact with proficiency this way? Im trying to make a resolve crit ravager build with shattered pillar.

Description: Lord Darryn's Voulge will upgrade to level 1 binding but I can't get it to level 2 binding (sail into a storm with your crew) no matter how many storms I sail into. I have the poleaxe bound to Eder. I am also experiencing the Magistrate's Cudgel bug, if that is relevant. Steps To Reproduce: Sail into a storm with Lord Darryn's Voulge equipped after having already soul bound and risen to level 1 with a character. The bind won't rise to level 2 as it should. Wasn't able to upload my save(s) (kept saying it was too big, even zipped, couldn't make it small enough), will e-mail upon request.

So I have the magistrate's cudgel equipped on Eder, and the initial ability on it is "Judge: Marked for 30.0 sec on scoring Hit, +10 Accuracy against targets affected by Judged effects." this works the first hit after equipping it or switching weapon sets in combat, after that the debuff no longer gets applied to enemies, I've had Eder enter combat by himself to try this. You can earn the first level still by switching his weapon sets around until it unlocks but after that it still doesn't apply the effect. I'm unsure if there is an ability overwriting it or anything or if its unique to only Eder, I wouldn't know since I haven't bound it to anyone else. I should note that this is my second play through and I've only experienced this bug running the Beta Patch 73. My original game didn't have this problem in the regular release client. I'll upload my latest save. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wvp78kvfbv2o95j/Bug%20Report%20Magistrates%20Cudgel.zip?dl=0

Hi tech team! Having a blast so far playing through as a rogue. I found the awesome talking sword Modwyr and soulbound it to my character even though I'm not proficient, because it just seemed so cool! Unfortunately, I seem to have stalled a bit in the progression of the item. I have a buff on my character called Modwyr's empathy, saying that Modwyr wants to talk to me. Try as I might, though, I can't seem to initiate that conversation. I've tried clicking on the icon for the buff, clicking on the sword in my inventory. Everything that I could think of. Is there something that I'm missing, or is it possible that there is a bug?

What I understand about weapon focus is: it works for each category of weapon adding +x acc bonus to the listed weapons. Soulbound weapons are a category per se and any weapon focus taken will add the bonus to the soulbuound ones. Does it mean any weapon focus taken will stack or only one will work and the others suppressed? The Priests' talent works with soulbound weapons and I guess it stacks with the weapon focus. How weapon focus works with wizard's summoned weapons? Are they considered like soulbound weapons? Do they replace the equipped weapon like shapeshifting or maintain the bonuses? Thanks, my Aloth wanna go melee.

This is my first time obtaining this - which should I give it to? They're each story companions (Aloth, Hiravias). I'm leaning towards Aloth for the potential AoE dominate procs from Blast and 1/encounter stun, but it seems like Golden Gaze would be much better for the AoE DR reduction. Alternatively, I'm thinking to put it on Hiravias since refreshing his Spiritshift isn't a bad option as it hits pretty hard and that would free up Aloth for Golden Gaze. I have Durance in my party too and the displaced image on being crit isn't a bad option either, but the other two seem better. Any input would be appreciated

So I'm considering trying to make a mod that allows you to reforge Soulbound weapons with the Durgan's Steel upgrade (and possibly other modifications like adding enchantments and quality as a separate option) once you have completed the soulbound challenges of the weapon. I've also gotten a request to look at whether class restrictions can be removed (and the relevant bonuses replaced) on the Soulbound items that I would like to look into. Does anyone know if this may be possible and any particular place I should start looking within the code to accomplish this? (This was originally posted in the general discussion forum until it was pointed out to me that this handy subforum existed.)

Given that souls play a major role in this game, your dead companions could come back in some kind of soul-bound way to an object, animal, spirit, undead, or even mind. I want my goblin-like herb-mixer remain in a talking voodo skull for example. Or your healer comes back as a ghost, the thief accompanies you as your shadow, the figther's soul in a weapon, the druid in an owl, the monk as a ghoul and so forth. In what form would you like to see a companion return to the world of the living?
