  1. I wonder why I hear that that often... Did the main char of the original trilogy was a Darth in the past? Did the main char of the original trilogy find 4 items/planets/objects before finding the Death Star? Did the main char of the original trilogy made a great journey with many allies (instead of just R2-D2 and C-3P0?) all the time? Did Revan get his father revealed to him? Sure, BioWare made a copy of every game they made before, but I don't see the original trilogy match exactly...
  2. This is the second time today this rule get's ignored. Also you usually get alot more effect when done that way... So, drop the Dragon a PM and let this one die in peace...
  3. Edited several posts to improve readability and fix some coding (bolding/quote breaking and such) errors made... Hope it makes it alittle bit easier to read for everybody who visits this thread...
  4. No need for any weapons/armor and tools if you fit T3 with the infinite shield and his shock arm... and you will still defeat the HK-50 with ease...
  5. Please note that Wikipedia is "freely editable" and thus this explenation can be false according to severl people, and maybe even OE themselves. As it being one "interpretation" by 1 person it can easily be wrong on many fronts and other interpretations...
  6. Maybe you just have the wrong weapons and miss all the time. Use T3's Shock Arm (never misses) and fry the droid!
  7. The mods VS. Spam *Thread pruned* Post based on the initial topic at hand or don't post at all... EDIT: And even more...
  8. Well, you can be bothered (and notice) by Broken Quest, missing/broken conversations and broken triggers or you can just seem to ignore them (As with Fuel For Telos "It is in my completed Quest section" or with Redemption "Sure it is stuck there and every effort I did in the game to fix the Jedi's rep was useless, but I just pretend it is done"...) Really, how many people on this boards had noted that Fuel For Telos was not a bugged quest at all, since it was completable (but not completed that way) according to the Journal?
  9. Listened to the music, and frankly I must say that the german band "Rammstein" is IMHO alot better...
  10. Rather give 'em the coke then..., atleast then the whiny addicts cannot join the games I play and tell about their "L33TN3S" and the accuse me of using "H4X0RS" when they get their ass handed to them...
  11. Of course, there's always the Telos Academy bug that was added by the patch. Word of advise: DON'T install Bugpack 1.0B The mentioned Telos Academy is only a Gamestopping bug inserted by the patch (and thus noticed by most people), there are dozens and dozens of new other (lesser) glitches and bugs introduced. A quick grasp of the bugs introduced by 1.0B that I could find before I had to re-install due to a 1.0B introduce heavy FPS-reduction issue: T3-M4's "special weapon" could be duped on Peragus after the Patch There was a door on Peragus that "wouldn't open" after aborting the cutscene of opening (in 1.0 this would still leave the door open and walkable through) Mandalore and Visas' char screen would be reversed on the Ravager EDIT: Cannot believe I forgot to mention how the "Coorta are you dead yet" scene got several visual glitches added and skipping no longer worked correctly like it should (and did in 1.0) (Oh yeah, and that from just 1 hour playing (Ravager from old savegame)... then imagine what would be found during the resting 39 hours of the game...)
  12. I'd would indeed get's locked... take alook at the 2 other threads dedicated to this... one in PNJ's fora and the other in C&C.
  13. Could also be he didn't grasp the entire "She is LS and therfore has to annihilate everything in sight"
  14. Besides that there is always alot more info on the HUD than just health/Ammo... Anyways, Role-Player; you indeed did not suggest it for FPS, not RTS, nor RPG, nor TBS, nor anything else than stealth games in the first place. Would that have something to do with working away a HUD on any other game would be impossible and illogical? So, fine, your suggestion doesn't work for FPS, but show me an example of another game type (Non-stealth game) where you could make it work (say RTS/RPG)...
  15. We don't have stickies for nothing, you know?
  16. Just that? You either are damn lucky, or just very naieve about noticing bugs... The second seems most likely, ever heard of: Redemption, Quest for Fuel, HK-50 convo Telos, AI-problems, Crash-bugs, FPS issues with smoke, doors in the middle of nowhere, enemies spawned into each other, conversation loops, wrong character during some parts of the game, Dxun fight with the Sith script errors (either never stopping, or never starting, right to Onderon), duplicated characters, "wrong" influence gains/losses, Dantooine FPS issue, locked doors when they should be open, All stats reset to 8, Jedi masters not dying, Handmaiden not dying, ghosting and fighting holo-recordings, Galactic History: Bonus Mission, Vogga's Hord, Vogga the Hutt, Infinite XP-Glitch Korriban, Infinite robe glitch Handmaiden, Non-sacrificing Visas, Invisible Atton/Kreia in the Secret Telos Academy, DS/LS switches from party members without reason... Just to call a few of the Kotor2 bugs... I cannot believe ANYONE has seen less than 10 of these during every random run through Kotor2...
  17. Tell the people who got permanently stuck in the Onderon Castle or could never activate the main quest on Nar Shaddaa!
  18. You might wan't to read the whole article linked to (the news/research) story to see that the entire family indeed came of "alot better" than gamers I mean 24/7 stoned (workless, reality-less) children living at the parents at 50 is exactly alot better than being a game-addict no?
  19. No Nar Shaddaa? No Onderon Palace? No Secret Telos Academy?
  20. Sure, always welcome, but not in a game that has STAR WARS in major letters on the front. If you buy a Star Wars game people expect a Star Wars-type of story. If you wan't a change call it different. How would you think it if Baldur's Gate III was suddenly a Futuristic FPS. Odd, no? You would think "since it has nothing to do with it they would give it a unique name"?
  21. It surely does. Also the fact that you save yourself a chore by skipping M5 (major +) by just quiting after the Jedi Meet. But how hard you try (without mods) you can't go around the hours pain that Peragus is. You don't wan't to know how many times I TRIED to get into Kotor2 again, just to not get beyond Peragus (hell, 1/3 of Peragus was even HARD second time around) because I got bored and grabbed another game to actually have fun...
  22. Role-player, from all what you says it looks like you wan't to replace a small compact HUD with a enormous chunk of screen taking HUD... Why should a game become more immersive if the lower part of the screen is occupied by your arm and watch on it when it can be a simple clock in the lower lvl? Part of a HUD is that is has to be compact, yet clear to allow to check up fast when needed, making it take huge chunks and "hidden" is going to SEVERLY annoy and thus break immersion because you wan't to press De-Install rather than continue playing...
  23. Makes you wonder about this law: And most laws here also get based on what happened. See the forum guideline update for example...
  24. Could explain it. That isn't possible on the PC version. Same with the Nar Shaddaa T3 Warehouse puzzle where the log says "you should solve the puzzle or bash the console" but you cannot bash the console at any way (that is on the PC-version)
