Here is a big reason why v301 "feels better"
An easy way to make this the standard without the game being too easy is to give the player a big health penalty for running out of endurance.

Your own description doesn't sound capitalist. Either way I haven't denied that Nazi-Germany's economy contained capitalist elements, but I am not debating whether of not Nazi-Germany was a socialist state. I am saying the Nazi's themselves are socialists. All the economic policies the Nazi's implemented were socialistic (including the suppression of labor), but yes; Nazi-Germany still had some respect for property. They called themselves socialist, they implemented socialist policies, they promoted socialism; how are they not socialists?

Restore the "Beatles" Encounter for Hard Difficulty
I think the beetles are perfect the way they are, but the wyrm hunter party should be stronger. Also, I feel the Ogre should be stronger. That tends to be the theme for me. Enemies like the beetles & lions should be easy, but special enemies should be challenging.

The Beginning of the End of ISIS?
This is like saying we saved Mike Tyson from Jersey Shore's Snookie. Russia did NOT need saving. Pretty much the only thing that put the USA on par with the strength of Russia at that time was a really big ****ing bomb and the USA's willingness to utilize it. It's commonly accepted Russia could've overtaken Germany with relative ease and then swallowed all of Europe with it, if it wanted. They were also the single-most pivotal and important country in the Nazi defeat. I agree with almost all of this. I don't believe that the Soviet Union could have swallowed all of Europe, but the rest is definitely true. Our biggest contribution to the war was our victory over Japan. Not that we didn't help with Germany, but we weren't number 1 or even needed in that department.

As usual your understanding of these events is horribly misinformed ISIS controls certain energy resources in Syria, the airstrikes are designed to weaken and destroy ISIS ability to generate revenue and wage war. Therefore obviously this gas plant is a legitimate target as by destroying this you reduce the military effectiveness of ISIS as they have less money to fund there operations I wouldn't be surprised if weakening Assad's strategic position was seen as a bonus. We probably should compensate Syria if the plant sustains serious damage; unless this was done with Assad's approval. Not that this should even be done at all.

Ideas for new talents!
I like talents andI think it would be good to give Obsidian some new ideas for talents. Here are a few of mine: A Fighter talent that reduces the speed penalty of wearing armor by 20%. By 20% I am saying that a speed penalty of 30% would go down to 24%; not to 10%. A Ranger talent that would make the Ranger (not the animal companion) do 30% more damage against wild animals. Those are two of my ideas. Anyone else got some?

I'll explain what I meant for those didn't understand what I meant. Video Game developers should create whatever game they want to create. Whether the focus is to make money or just create something cool should be up to them. Developers don't need SJW's trying to pressure them into creating a game based on the values they are currently promoting.

Video games should do whatever the hell they want. I disagree. This is a business, they are trying to sell a product. They should do whatever their consumers want. Indie developers have a lot more leeway, but they still have to think is terms of marketability at some point. Otherwise making games is just a hobby. If they want to make make money; then go ahead and do that.

You'll do more damage. That's the point. I don't think that's fair to the IE games. I've made different builds for fighters in the IE games before. Honestly they were more different than the builds you can make in poe so far since attributes don't make a huge difference. Mhhhh, I was thinking mostly to BG1 that has the power level we should compare PoE to. In BG1 there was only archer warrior and melee warrior, so the diversity was about that. Not true. Make a Fighter with 14 STR 18 CON 18 DEX with proficiency in long-sword equipped with a shield and you'll get a great tank. Make a fighter with 18 STR 18 CON 14 DEX with proficiency in two-handed sword and you'll get an epic slayer. The builds can be very different based on how you set up attributes & what type of melee weapon you specialize in.

They still could have taken a very similar approach if they wanted to. I feel they should have, but I won't accuse anyone of "not being a true fan" just because they didn't like everything.

You can make a muscle fighter. He's not as good a tank, but he'll be able to do more damage than an brain-fighter.

I think it's that while a lot of people here like the IE games; they don't really like the game play as much as the other elements. Story, customization, and the UI. I loved the IE games and wish that Obsidian had made poe more like them; including the mechanics. That said just because some people here don't like the mechanics of the IE games doesn't mean they weren't fans of everything else.

It's not just how much damage you do to the enemies; it's how much they do to you. The grazes are making the combat more consistent and it goes both ways. The consistency is making combat less varied and less interesting.

Baldurs Gate never demands a reload for a better RNG outcome. If you handle things right you shouldn't need to get lucky. I played through BG1 again about a month ago; never died, and never needed to rely on good luck.

That is practically what is MMO thinking. Bringing all gameplay down to banal but "balanced" level. You can have consistent gameplay there, true. But it is also assured to be boring and repetitive. If only I could give 2 likes...

I think the trash mobs are about right, but the special encounters are a bit too weak.

I like this build a lot! The number of trash enemies has been reduced to a more acceptable level. I know Sensuki misses the "fun" beetle fight, but I'm glad the number of foes has been reduced. The game seems more responsive and the highlighting of characters was very useful in combat. The attributes are better and overall I am really liking this new build. Good job guys!
