What NEEDS to be fixed before launch?

Fix character collision. In this build characters can get closer to each other than even Bruce would approve of.- 117 replies

I made a build that was in-between recently; it wasn't so bad. My defenses were high enough to render the low attack power enemies helpless, and the few enemies strong enough to punch through my defense could be suppressed via knockdown. Really, I find being a pure tank is kind of redundant as just going half-way with defense is sufficient for most enemies, and the few enemies it isn't enough for usually circumvent deflection all together.

Glad you're enjoying it. I wasn't turned off from BG2's difficulty the first time I played it (though I did die a lot), but I'm kinda a weirdo when it comes to losing in games. I still remember about two years ago I lost to Gary in Pokemon Puzzle League on Super Hard mode so many times that the game's counter of your number of losses reached it's max at 999. I'll never know just how many times I lost, but it was at least 1200+ times over the course of two days. It didn't bothered me losing over-and-over-and-over. So to lose a few times in BG2 didn't discourage me at all, in fact, I kinda like a game that kicks my ass. I appreciated that BG2 wasn't a cake walk the first time through, but again; I'm kinda weird.

White People: What They Say in Public vs Behind Closed Doors
Namutree replied to ktchong's topic in Way Off-Topic
Never said that. I considered it socialistic as it suggests collective ownership of people's bodies, but I wouldn't label it "leftist" as the US has no tradition on the matter, nor do any of the philosophies we are founded on ever address the issue. You're not seriously suggesting either party has shifted towards public ownership of the means of production are you? Being "right" is simply adhering to the traditional system and the philosophy(s) behind it. Being "left" is as simple as opposing the traditional system and philosophy(s) behind it. It doesn't matter whether they're moving toward public ownership of the means of production; what matters is that they're moving towards something different than our founding system/ideals. Right: Old ideas good; New ideas bad. Left: New ideas good; Old ideas bad. At least that's how I see it. -

You have specific examples of falsehood? When he states that today's democrats have shifted to the right. Neither party has shifted to the right; both parties have been shifting left. At least when it comes to economic issues. Corporatism is not a form of capitalism and neither is it "right" as it doesn't conform to our founding principles. -
Nope. I do a lot of under the table work (mostly for landlords) that really needs to get done.

This is literally the exact opposite of the truth. -

On what basis are the democrats "right" and which of these beliefs are incompatible with leftist ideologies? -

am not defending hatred, but pretend that it doesn't exist or isn't warranted strike us as equal wrong. it would be nice if we could all be saints (maybe not actually) but the reality is that if you suffer because of ___________ or is disenfranchised, ridiculed and functional segregated, chances are the you is gonna dislike the person, organization or class that you see as responsible for your suffering. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/58301-the-humanitarian-mission-in-lybia/page-3?do=findComment&comment=1132855 we got all kinds o' reasons to dislike white folks and the US and that guy who vandalized our family truck back in 76 by smashing windows, slashing tires and spray painting racial slurs on it while we were in the grocery store in town. even so, from reading a few o' our posts, it is kinda obvious that we ain't acting like a victim, and we ain't blaming white folks. when the white-cops-are-killing-unarmed-minorities threads pop up, Gromnir typical defends the cops. when nutter conspiracy theorists make claims that the military industrial complex manipulates the system to keep women and minorities on the bottom rungs o' the ladder o' society, we is at the forefront heaping scorn on 'em. we has actual litigated on behalf o' nazis and white power groups in spite o' the fact that such folks make our skin crawl. am even willing to say that we hate nazis without feeling the need to apologize, but that didn't stand in our way o' advocating for them and their First Amendment rights. Gromnir; you're just awesome. -

This is funny considering the democratic party's history of racism. -
That's an exaggeration. Naked ranged is sub-optimal as you can enchant clothes to raise attributes. Oh, and 1 tank is probably not optimal. I'd go with 2 tanks or no tanks. No luck needed. A tank with a good two-handed weapon is just as good. Arguably better. In fact, I wouldn't even suggest using a medium or large shield. The small shield is probably the only shield worth using.

Haven't bothered with Sommers and don't really care to. My issue with Stinker is that he's an historically and politically illiterate hack who basically parrots U.S propaganda, rejects any criticism of U.S imperialism, has deluded himself into thinking that "[democracies] tend to stay out of disputes across the board”, attributes the large death of American warring to the "fanaticism" of those resisting (how dare they!), divides rich and poor as "civilized and uncivilized", believes the upper classes "civilize" the lower classes and that when the lower classes rebel (the example he gives being the movements of the 1960s) this is symptomatic of the "de-civilizing" of society; he is an apologetic for the U.S prison complex and a bunch of other ****. Since I recall you like Chomsky I'd recommend reading Edward S. Herman and David Peterson's review of "Better Angels". It's reasonably good. I didn't think you'd bother with an explanation.

I'd guess this is the closest thing to an explanation you'll get from Barothmuk:

I don't see the importance of this particular difference.
