So if they were totally different movies. It definitely doesn't hold a candle to any of the original trilogy movies. I think overall it's about the same level of quality as Revenge of the Sith. Have Kylo Ren betray and pwn him in the next movie so we don't have to deal with him anymore. His purpose in the new trilogy would just to be a device to show Ren's progress as a dark side user.

As to the actual election, The sense I get is that as much as we see these antics within the primaries, the republicans have spent to much of the past 16 years alienating immigrants, women, and becoming more extremist, to actually have a hope when the general election hits. As much as GD may shout about how untenable it may be or what he thinks the future will hold, a rise in the minimum wage plays incredibly good to those earning less than 30k a year. As does several of the initiatives that are being proposed by the democratic side to undercut the hyper wealthy in favor of those who question how they might pay their taxes each year. Republicans need to break themselves back down and rebrand if they don't want to be seen as a joke. They like to proclaim they're trying to make America great again, and are the party of austerity and fiscal responsibility. And yet their budget that they pushed out last week includes purchasing 68 new F35's, and a significant increase to the single largest expense we've got as a government... defense spending. We have both the largest, and second largest airforce under arms, but instead of maybe cutting that down a tad, the republican party wants to cut something like planned parenthood rather than NOT buy one of those F35's for the same annual cost. Why are you ranting about the republican party? WoD was merely pointing out that Hillary is more prone to proposing disastrous policies than Trump and that Obama has a poor foreign policy that Putin has taken advantage of. None of this was about the democratic or republican parties as a whole. I'm sure WoD has plenty of issues with the republican's too. BTW: The statement WoD made about Hillary is true, and it's far worse than he even described. He's also at least 1/2 right about Obama's foreign policy.

Just watched the movie, I enjoyed it overall. I think I like it as much as Episode 3/Episode 4 (Yes, I find episode 3 to be the best of the prequels and episode 4 the worst of the original trilogy; deal with it Return of the Jedi haters). I had to deal with some serious bs at the theater. When the movie started there was a serious audio problem and no one could hear any of the movie's dialog correctly. After like, 15 minuets the theater stopped the movie saying they'd restart it after the issue was fixed. Very annoying. Had to wait like ten minuets for things to get back in proper order. Oh well, such is life. Another Chosen One, I guess.

Religion is very culturally relevant. Most churches preach what is reflected in their politics and the values that they hold. Very rarely do churches actually preach their religious doctrines and even more rarely do people acquire their values from their faith (like they are supposed to). Instead they deliberately twist the religion they supposedly have faith in to fit their world view. That is not what people who genuinely believe their religion would do; it's what liars who only pretend to believe their religion would do.

Almost nobody takes religion seriously in the states, and the few who do spend more time celebrating dead soldiers and shooting up their work places than helping people.
