  1. Useful feedback thanks! It is being discussed now.
  2. In Quest mode you'll receive roles once you hit level 31!
  3. Good feedback Blave! Irgy nails a lot of this on the head. The more game mechanics we automate the more it might lead to "sloppy play". Some things are very easy to forget and we try to remind you where we can. Gold farming is a delicate balance that is constantly being tuned and looked at. If we give it away entirely too easily there is no real incentive for players to buy anything with real currency. We all want to continue to pump out more content for this game, and I'm sure you guys want to play more content. That being said Gold is in there as an alternative. I think buying with money should be the more attractive of the two (my personal and biased opinion of course!) but the gold needs to be a viable secondary option as well. Keep the feedback coming, we really appreciate it and we are listening!
  4. I think I lean towards the classic grouping, Valeros, Ezren, Kyra and Merisiel. Thematically they are my favorite group.
  5. Blave can you make a post about this in the technical forums. If you could include screenshots of this as well that would be awesome!
  6. As an employee of Obsidian Entertainment I must claim conflict of interest and bow out from this contest of awesome. Keep them coming guys the record is what, 67?
  7. Great questions, hope I can clear it up a bit. 1. When you create a party those characters are locked into that party. There are a few ways to free them up to be used in other parties. If you delete the party those characters go into your experienced character pool. Also if you load that party up you can go to the character selection screen in between scenarios by tapping on the character sheet icon, on the lower right part of the screen, on the scenario selection screen (The world map). Once there you can remove characters from your party into the experienced pool. 2. As helpful other pathfinders mentioned, Quest Mode and Story mode are two different parties. Quest mode characters have a completely different way of leveling. 3. Party maintenance in Quest mode works just like Story mode, if that was your question. As Hannibal pointed out you only have one party at a time in Quest mode, but you can still swap around character in between scenarios using the steps outlined in step 1. There are a couple limitations to keep in mind. You cannot have more than 20 experienced characters. You cannot have two of the same character in a party. So you cant have a fresh Merisiel and an experienced Merisiel in the same party.
  8. This definitely warrants some looking around no our end. Thanks for reporting and the patience! :3
  9. Some things were so good they got bumped up. Some things were not so great and got bumped down. Yap I'm looking at you.
  10. I personally prefer and play 4 character games on my tablet. I haven't had any issues with legendary difficulty wise, other than I don't always win and I really shouldn't. It is not designed to be a "slightly harder" normal mode. I noticed veterans of the game have a harder time with Legendary, which seems backwards, but that is because they have a mind set and an approach to the flow of the game. Legendary displaces this. The same deck and tactics you used for normal story mode should largely not work with Legendary. All that being said, the game is not made just for me; But for all of us. I love talking shop with you guys and getting feedback. I don't always have time to respond, because you know work. But I do take your suggestions and discussions and pass them around to the team. Keep it coming!
  11. Right it is not a direct correlation. That being said once you hit Tier 1 you should be seeing a lot of new things.
  12. Keep in mind quest mode distribution is handled differently. You can guess roughly where something might show up based on where it shows up in story mode, but there was a lot of shifting around done. In Quest Mode Yap the pixie is a B card. As he should be....
  13. That one is tough, the idea being that normally people would horde blessings for extra explores and closing. But that card forces you to play different to work around that. Most people already have the boons they want by the time they get to Legendary and because of that they do not even try to acquire boons as you normally would on story mode. This makes you change the way you play by making acquiring boons a bit more important.
  14. Also Legendary is designed to essentially be end game content, the toughest of the tough. Ideally you cannot just roll up in a legendary scenario with your regular story mode deck and start snapping necks.
  15. Its not an exact science but Tier one is roughly deck 1 in terms of what you can find to expect and tier 2 is roughly deck 2. etc. if this isn't the case I'll poke our designer.
  16. Play style and deck construction need to vary a lot for a 6 player game.
  17. Did all 4 characters live through all 5 scenarios? Were they there upon completion of all 5 scenarios?
  18. Depending on the device, catching it as the number displays can be difficult! But Yowzas dem rolls!
  19. So, Hawkmoon Longshot, technically you are correct. However we approached it this way for a couple of different reasons. As the end result is largely the same and it doesn't unbalance the game. Good catch though. Have you ever consider QA as a job?
  20. I could read these discussions all day! But then I would be fired pretty quick!
  21. I am more concerned that you are playing Legendary and are winning WAY more than losing...
  22. If you're stuck on a story scenario, just keep running scenarios from that same adventure tier. The higher-level bits and pieces you pick up will help you progress, and you keep everything you find on a run whether you win or lose, so you're always advancing one way or another. You'd be doing basically the same thing if you could take your characters across to the Quest mode, with the difference this way being that you can practice on the specific scenario you're having trouble with while you're collecting this stuff. This. Do not underestimate getting better gear. If you are struggling with scenarios pretty consistently, you might need to change up your strategies. Making sure the right character is at the right location for a closing check. Try splitting the party up. Save blessings for Villains Henchman and closing. Guards are actually pretty cool if you find yourself failing combat checks a lot. Rise of the Runelords is commonly referred to as the easiest of the 3 box sets available.
