Atari announces Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate
One of my classmates is Juhani as well. I mean, it's a seriously common name. I wonder what went through Bio heads at the time.

Kingdom Hearts
My friend absolutely adores KH and draws yaoi of it. That should tell you something. Though admittedly, KH 2 had some awesome parts, particulary a certain siege and the whole Twilight town ambience.

Terry Pratchett has early-onset Alzheimer's
Night Watch is like the fifth guards book or something, so I doubt that.

Pictures of your games
Man, I've yet to see that. Gotta catch'em all and...yeah, going now.

The Witcher Revisited
I can alt-tab fine, but only if I don't do it too many times in a row, and especially not during a loading screen. Heh, I used to alt-tab to msn every time a loading screen started, since it would load in the background while I chat aimlessly, but I stopped doing that because I had a crash when autosaving.

Happy Birthday Nick!
Buy the Witcher, jerkface. And happy birthday.

Terry Pratchett has early-onset Alzheimer's
Night Watch is the best book so far, but you really can't read it outright without having a background on the City Watch characters, especially Vimes. Hmm, I'm not actually sure whether Night Watch is better than Soul Music.

What you did today
Today I officially got healthy again, read ancient history for exams on Saturday, reminisced about Black Lagoon with a friend and will partake in glorious "let's install curtains to the windows but fail utterly in the process"-mess up in a couple of hours.

Christmas Presents
I was thinking of buying all the books I want to read next and "giving" them as gifts to be "borrowed" later. Lessee..., there's some Matheson, a smathering of Pratchett, maybe a Pullum book or two and Hobb, Reynolds as weell and then maybe... *saunters off mumbling*

Woh, that's long!

Well, whatever, boss. Captain-General(or Brainfinder-General, oooo) would have been more awesome though.

The Witcher Revisited
I hope the demo is not just Kaer Morhen(tutorial castle), because that place doesn't really show off the game. Though the cinematics are nice and quests are solid.

Consider yourself the leader...or...the Captain-, umm -General, perhaps?

The Witcher Revisited
I have to agree with the people here. It's really something. Even in measly 10 fps(rrrragh) with almost everything in low(argghh spit grrr). Seeing the Vizima gates in sunset for the first time was unforgettable and, on an entirely graphically unrelated note(lol, hedge) this is one of the few games that actually has an interesting and useful alchemy minigame. I also dig the rest features and the constantly updating lore sections of the journals. My only gripe is with the ridiculous amount of damage you can take(on normal). And regenerative items are easy to come by. It's not a breeze, but it is on the easier side of things.

Aww ****. The guy has had a stellar record. I grew up reading disc-world books and they were the first novels for me that I read in English.

Your favorite game
(hi-fivez) To be honest, I don't really know if it's fair to leave out Mafia, PS:T, IWD2, Thief 1 and Undying, but TLJ, T2 and Rome are the ones I go back to play again and again, even if it's just for more mods. Those games have had incredible longevity for me, through mods or through plain story-galore. I hate leave the list like that, but no other games have just lasted with me for so long.

Your favorite game
Uh, a hard question. If we can answer in plural(and even if we can't lolz), then it's likely: The Longest Journey Thief 2 Rome: Total War

Congratulations Pidesco and Tigranes!
Jesus, soon half the board is there to keep my warning level simmering. Now all of you can warm me! Well, here's to you! *toast* Yeah, I only got apple juice. Too weak from last Friday to try anything worse.

Games you are looking forward to
Oh, there already was a thread for congrats. Well, never mind it. I'm still waiting for Black Mesa: Source and Mercenaries 2:World in Flames, along with Arthurian TW: Corpse-Feeders and eventually Ninja Gaiden 2. Also, a rig that can play The Witcher without hiccuping.

Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition is on the way...
Just one thing: What prevents you people from playing in the old ed even after 4th is launched? I don't see their revamp as a problem, but you seem to look upon the thing like it's killing your enjoyment of the previous editions.

Congrats Monty, by the way.
