"Un" Official Kotor 3 discussion
Sorry to break the cryosleep of your reality, but that's wrong on so many levels. Yes, threads that have a lot posts obviously survive longer, so there's a larger chance of devs seeing and reading them. That however doesn't mean that a topic with a lot of replies is good discussion. Far from it.

The Religion Thread
You know, if it fails in the end and I end up in hell for some obscure reason, like not hallowing the sabbath; I'll gladly burn there. I'd rather have a talk with Pyrrhos and Nietzche while suffering purgatory than spent eternity in a paradise of an inane religion.

Your response to violence in Games
^Exactly the same thing happened to me in Deus Ex. It was that mission which had you steal, if I recall right, a vat of ambrosia from a chinese ship, which was docked on wharfes. Just like with any mission in DE, there wasn't really a point in killing people; the only guys you could call "evil" were the Majestic 12-thugs and I avoided killing even them. Basically, the only thing I disabled was bots and those commandos; they had lost their humanity already, willingly. Killing felt justified to me. How does this all matter when the ship level was strictly a non-MJ12 mission then? Well, from time to time I screwed up, trying to play the perfect ghost, kill no one and only KO people when necessary. Sneaking, invisibility, using vents for travel, etc. It didn't always work out right in the end. I ended up killing some of the crew in that mission, purely out of being too hasty. I should have taken my time and sneaked better, but I wanted to advance. Later, when I searched through the ship logs and registers for codes and the odd email, I came up to this message which was send to a ship officer. Nothing odd in that, just that it came from his relative and it talked about how his son was doing in school, how they wanted dad to come back soon, etc. You could say I felt quite bad afterwards. And there were no loads from before my run in with the crew in the lower levels of the ship. *sigh* Who said I can't post long ones?

Nethack, wankers. I don't know where to begin, it's so...real. For the record; Morrowind's world was hugely original and I loved the art direction of it.

What are you playing now?
English fails as a communication medium. So it was the hospital basement afterall. Eh, Lily and Heather are great too, Pisha just came to mind first.

Comics
I recommend leaving the pills, Blank. I read most of the pre-Onslaught stuff and I'll have to say that while adantium is way cooler then the bone claws, with unbreakabel skeleton and what-not, the bone "phase" proved quite intersting overall. At the time he was also suffering from sped up regression. That was mainly because he didn't have the constant fight between his body's immune system and the alien adamantium going on, hsi healing factor could "unlock" it's whole potential and that caused him to become more and more animal. There were some nice monologues and, albeit rather cliche, innner struggle during that period. Although his increased animalism did make social encounters rather...unsocial; he said aloud many times that he wasn't bothered by the regression, but actually liked to let go. Hama's Wolverine was rather fresh, methinks.

Once I get back home, I'll slip one of my better photos to scanner and come in. Seriously, I look like like a hitlerjugender in that pic I posted a while ago. I'll get back to you guys in a few hours.

The Religion Thread
Sorry for being a voice of moral here, but as far as I understood when reading the bible; killing is a Bad Thing. You kill, you go to hell. Now, you catholics could interpret it whicever way you want, but us reformed heathens try and refrain from killing stuff. Unless that stuff is trying to eat you.
