  1. No gnomes then? We need no other proof to damn those pesky stragglers foverer.
  2. Ah, the joys of English. You're in for a treat. Not.
  3. About the engrish, I know what you mean. It's grinding especially when the relevant show is supposed to happen in States or UK. Arggghh...
  4. These ones: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/75251.asp?q=Baldurs http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/258273.asp?q=Baldurs http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/196688.asp?q=Baldurs http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/470765.asp?q=Baldurs
  5. The artist is Eric Brosius. My alltime favorite, as he did some of this stuff: http://www.thief-thecircle.com/media/music/
  6. Yes, the subject is obvious. We've had at least three soundtrack and music threads before, all of which were rather succesful and seemed to appeal to all kinds. With that thought in min; I'm not restricting this topic to discussing mere favs or why Soule just sucks the big one, rather; I'd like to see different views on game music as a whole. Do you mind the grand scores fps' seem to need nowadays? Do you tend to turn music off when you play or change it to something else? Minimalism or orchestra? Does the quality matter? And to get this thing going; recently, I've become more and more a sucker for simple ambient tracks and sounds of blowing wind, not grand scores, but PoP3: The Two Thrones' soundtrack's contrast to it's predecessor, Warrior Within, took me by suprise. True, it's reaching for the same old movie sountrack-like ochestral symphonies like any other fantasy game, with some persian flavor thrown in, but while Warrior Within's music reached from annoying to decent(certain ambient comes to mind), Two Thrones is a solid work. I wouldn't call it masterpiece, but it takes the cake, so to say. Very very enjoyable after the metal-variant they called soundtrack in WW.
  7. BSEM=Big Eyes, Small Mouth?
  8. ^Agreed.
  9. It did. I'm just not a fan of threads where lone fanboys whine for their lost love.
  10. John Williams doesn't do game soundtracks. Which is a good thing.
  11. Well, sometimes. Other times it's like a crappy schoolboy fantasy..
  12. I can start another one if you wish... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please by all me....NO. Dear god, no.
  13. http://www.applegeeks.com/ ^From there. :">
  14. One thread so far. He isn't nearly as bad as you, Ramza. Yet. :D
  15. Spirits Within was bad, baaad. I sorta agree with you on Advent Children. Granted, it's not brightest of the bunch, but the over-the-top action, grand scenes and familiar characters got me. Seen it twice and liked both. It has an odd pacing, however, and might not appeal to everyone.
  16. May I suggest a genuine German flail? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Genuine you say? Worth considering, with all the fakes around these days. Myself, I prefer the good ol' truncheon. It get's the job done.
  17. I'm trying to beat some sense in to this certain numbskull, otherwise I'd have long since abandoned this thread. You do understand that it's against the rules to post anyhting K3-related outside that thread? So whatever you say in this thread will disappear soon enough after this sinks away locked, while the replies in the suggestions-thread will be archived. You'll have a better change at being seen in there. Oh, and don't bother PMing the devs with your requests. It's not really polite.
  18. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=38660&st=120 Mohammad, mountain. Mountain, Mohammad.
  19. You don't have to be so rude Muso <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had 7 polite replies in a row, I think I deserve to gently push one brat aside.
  20. The thread is pretty much done for, so how about you just beat it?
  21. Besides having bugs and ST, I mean.
  22. You mean Ter
  23. What has that to do with anything?
