Nice ep. No surprise, since it has two of the best scenes from the first book. Ned finally gets what has been obvious all along. I hope Sansa has much less air time in the coming seasons. She's annoying, and she was in the books... Arya is surprisingly nice.

I think they just do it because it gets them the most amount of notice per workhour. They've been doing romances for several games now, and people still talk about them like they're a major part of the game - even people who claim to not be interested in them. That's easy press, if I ever saw one.

There was more fighting in the 2nd book, both off and on-"screen". The 1st book certainly has it's share of violence too, especially towards the ends.

According to Gaider, this was because of circumstances out of Bio's control.

In the last thread, importing from ME1 to ME2 was discussed. You can create your own "import" by using Gibbed's ME2 savegame editor (google to get it). This method doesn't give you any of the game mechanical benefits of importing a high level ME1 character (though you can obviously use the editor to get some of those), it just allows you to set the ME1 plot flags to your preference. To do this: 1. Start a new game in ME2. Save when you are able to. 2. Open said save in the editor, => Set flags under Plot -> ME1 to your liking. => Set Raw -> Plot -> End Game State to LivedtoFightAgain => Save new savegame. Note that you need to follow the filenaming format, or ME2 won't read it. 3. Open ME2, and select New Game -> import ME2 character, and select the new save.

You can use a savegame editor to create an import, if you want.

Probably. I'd say it depends on the sales more than people on the internet say. I knew that framed-narrative thing would bite them in the behind the moment I heard of it.

IIRC, said expert worked already on Jade Empire. But yes, I'm pretty sure they had some expert create the fantasy languages.

There's only one brother/sister hookup (IIRC, with on-screen characters anyway). Viserys is just slightly nutty, and likes to abuse Daenerys. But no sex there, just nipple-pinching.

There will be more fantasy elements as it goes on, but in the 4 books so far, nothing even close to the level of your usual fantasy RPG. The drive of the story is the characters and the roles they play in the overall plot and setting. If you can't get into that stuff, you won't like it. Fighter is right though; it has a book's pacing, and all the characters will probably feel really hollow at this point (they certainly did for me with the book!). Oh, and the series has a really high death count. Don't expect anyone to survive forever.

I'm so devastated they took out the nipple pinching from that one scene. Never gonna watch another episode.
