Future of the Dragon Age franchise
Hi We talked about this on a separate thread already, but I decided to make a new one so those interested wouldn't miss the info. The news is: the executive producer for the DA franchise posted on the BIO forums, talking about the future of the franchise. Most importantly, the following things are confirmed: a) No more DLCs or expansions for DA2. Possibly patches. b) They are working on a new DA game. If you have an account there, definitely check the developer posts: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/260/index/10245444&lf=8

Ouch, Bioware... Dragon Age 2, and now this?
It's also a pretty straight confirmation of DA3.

Mass Effect 3
Oh? I've gotten at least 2 or 3 romantic scenes with her, up to that point. And they were decently done too. I got the impression they put more effort to it, myself. Sounds like the game is playing itself more. Is it only the Normandy or is there more Party Banter as well out in the field? Yes, in the field as well, including unique cutscenes on missions. Several of the NPCs will also hang out in various places on the Citadel, when you go there.

The Day-1 DLC's quest is short, and not very interesting. The squadmate on the other hand, is. He also has a lot of dialogue in various cutscenes on other missions. Diana Allers doesn't seem to have alot of dialogue, but you can have sex with her. Dunno if she has more after you do, I passed up on it. EDIT: On that note, all the NPCs on Normandy have waaayyy more dialogue than they did in ME1 or 2. Including dialogue with each other, as opposed to just with Shepard.

I'm pretty sure enemy engineers can't place a another turret before the current one gets destroyed. Agree about the quest logging. Too often I just end up having to trump through all areas until I find the thing I'm looking for. This is especially annoying for quests that basically say "go to planet X!", but don't even tell what system it's in... For the Hanar quest, you need to check the terminals in the embassies, presidium commons and docking bay loading area, then head back to the embassies.

What are you playing now?
FF13-2. It's kinda fun.

Dragon Age 2
It's a movie. You go see it in theaters. It's in Japanese, because it was made in Japan, and opens in Japan. I guess there's English trailers somewhere.

Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy - Ch26 (Mae'Var)
"Gorpel Hind" certainly sounds like TSR.

That would kinda be missing the point, if the Ankheg armor is still statwise a +2 Plate Mail....

I prefer the Composite Longbow +1, which Fuiruim sells. It has thac0 +2 dam +3, while the markmanship bow has thac0 +3 dam +2. And yes, you could "join" the bandits in vanilla BG. By the way, how is Greylord using the Ankheg Plate Mail? I thought Archers were restricted to leather.

Oh, I guess I can be in the queue too. Since I can't be a hard-boiled Lizardman detective, I guess I'll be an Inquisitor.

Archers are just ridiculously powerful. At least you didn't make him an Elf.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I've been killed by a mudcrab.

Civ 4
Going for a specific Victory Type from the start is just much more effective than deciding later on. I have no problem with playing a random leader or map, but I will decide my strategy from turn 1.

Civ 4
I prefer Civ5. As for Civ4, Huyana Capac beats everyone for Science and Culture victories. Pure math, really. Other strong Financial civs do well too, like Elizabeth or Mansa Musa. As for Military victories, it's a bit more varied. Every Civ with a strong early-rush unit does well, like Persia or the Mongols. Rome is good as well, because of the Praetorian. I'm not sure who is the best overall, because I usually get too bored to play optimally in the latter parts of Military games; just too much stuff you have to do, even when the winner is clear.

Well, it is a leveled item. Unrelated, but: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/121/1214016p1.html
