  1. You know, its actually not a bad idea. Except I would stipulate that the True Sith would have to have won against Revan and the Exile, and have begun a war of conquest. This would happen after Revan and the Exile either realized they were not strong enough to beat the True Sith or because they thought they'd defeated them, only to discover they are very wrong. Naturally, Revan and the Exile would have fled back to Republic space to try and lead the resistance w/Canderous and Carth, no matter how ill fated. That's where I would start, because unless Bastila or Revan is pregnant during TSL, then I don't see a kid being born unless Revan returns to Republic space.
  2. "KotOR 1, Revan did NOT go to the Dark Side. He slayed his former pupil and saved the Republic and the galaxy" About Revan apparently being Dark Side, that can only happen if you told Atton Revan was Dark Side. If you told him "I was led to believe that Revan saved the Republic," then Revan was light sided.
  3. Hell yeah about ATI users. I just bought KOTOR for the PC (I have TSL for Xbox), and man, I was pissed when i discovered that my Radeon 64mb didn't support OpenGL 1.4. Happily, it still runs well enough in software mode, and I didn't have to destroy somebody.
  4. I don't disagree with what you are saying. You make an excellent point. In fact, I agree with your whole premise for this game. I'm just trying to find a way to make it so we are able to tie both the Exile and Revan thread together without creating some bastard child of Halo 2, where you have two concurrent storylines that have to be brought together. It just wouldn't flow properly. In my mind, if the stories of the Exile and Revan are to be tied together nicely, then we need to be able to rebuild both of them as we played them. Perhaps the developer could go back to the idea of taking data from your save games. That would actually eliminate the need to even play as the two of them, as it would create the Exile and Revan as they were in your game.
  5. But at the same time, I played TSL for 40 plus hours wanting to find Revan more than I wanted to destroy the Sith. Besides, the game wouldn't end with finding Revan, it would just shift gears. At the end of the game it would bring both threads together, and the galaxy would be saved, no matter the path Revan and the Exile took (a logical certainty).
  6. Welcome to our world. We Xboxers have been rather upset with the ending too. For much longer as well.....
  7. But the Exile's story is just as important. We need to close his story too. I'm for a two fold story. I think we should play half as the Exile during his search for Revan, and then the second half of the game as Revan, once the Exile has found him. At such a point, you would simply transfer the EXP you accumulated as the Exile to your Revan character and then rebuild your level 20, 30, or whatever Revan. The Exile might then return to the Republic in an effort to prepare for the war with the True Sith, while as Revan, you work against them, manipulate them, or do whatever with them as you explore the Unknown Regions. Any which way, I just want to see Revan return to Bastila. I'm a Gray or LS Jedi nearly all the time, and that just needs to happen. I would throw my game away in disgust if Revan was dead and never got to return to Bastila.....
  8. You know, I say Lucas should have had the Imperial March play as Anakin carried the body of his mother from the swoop to the house....
  9. I challenge the notion that Luke is truly even a Jedi. To me he seems to be simply a force wielder. We see him cruelly manipulate minds, choke people, and the only thing that allows him to defeat Vader is hatred and anger. I think the Return of the Jedi is the acknowledgment that Anakin Skywalker returns, and that the Jedi within him slays the Emperor, not so much that Luke is heralding the return of the Jedi Order
  10. I would agree with Tent. I think that the act of slaughtering the Sand People signifies the symbolic fall of Anakin. Much like the acceptance of the Clone Army is the death knell of the Republic. While Anakin may not have become Darth Vader, from that point on, I would find it to be very difficult for Anakin to come back to the light, just as the Republic could not be saved once it accepted the Clone Army.....
  11. Perhaps Kreia is the person Revan sought as an ally, and in her efforts to help, found his source of power, fell to the Dark Side, was betrayed, and then betrayed Revan by never going to help him and instead seeking revenge upon Sion and Nihilius. Thus, when the Exile defeats Kreia, the task originally given to Kreia is passed by default to him....
  12. I don't know, Vader was a weakling in terms of will. His resolve is broken rather quickly by emotions. He can't control himself or his emotions. That's bad. Revan however, is able to feed upon the power of the dark side without ever being fully consumed, and bent it to his will. Vader serves the Force, where as the Force serves Revan.
  13. I would imagine T3 was returning from the Unknown Regions on orders from Revan, perhaps as a measure to alert people like Canderous and Carth that their time is coming, and the events he warned them about are about to transpire. For the Lightside, Revan is likely fine, kicking ass and taking names from whomever it is he is fighting, wearing Mandalorian Assault Armor or his badass Revan Robes. If it were otherwise, T3 wouldn't be hiding Revan's location from everybody. He shocks HK so HK won't find out, and has deliberately sabotaged the astrogation database so only he knows where Revan is. I'd say this is because Revan is probably planning something, and knows that Bastila or Carth would come running after them if either of them were to discover his/her whereabouts, simply because of the love they share, and Revan can't have them A)Endanger themselves, cause he/she loves them, and B) he's probably working on sabotaging the True Sith for when they invade the Republic, and if Bastila or Carth were to come, then his planning would be ruined. I'm not sure why T3 finds the Exile. I think thats more due to the influence and conniving of Kreia than T3.
  14. You don't know anything about Boba Fett from the first three movies. You learn his name only right before he dies/falls in the Sarlacc. They may have mentioned that Jango was a Mandalorian, but im not sure.
  15. At first I was afraid of finding Revan's corpse on Malachor, but it would be implausible for Revan to actually be on Malachor when it was destroyed....unless perhaps Revan was on Malachor, found the Ebon Hawk and its unconscious crew, saved Mira, and then rode to the rescue and grabbed up the Exile!
  16. I agree. I blame LA for TSL's shortcomings. OE had an excellent premise, excellent execution for the most part, and very few real "problems with the game in and of itself." For me the issue was a ton of little things, but very few big things.
  17. Is there anyway to get down to the military base on Telos' sublevel?
  18. I think Sean Bean might be a better Exile. I was trying to fit him in myself.....
  19. Revan? Tough call. Christian Bale perhaps. Charismatic looking. Malak? I could see Gary Oldman, though somebody bigger and stronger would be better. I agree with Kate Beckinsdale for Bastila Denzel might work as Jolee, but only because I can't think of any older black actors who could pull the bitter old fart off.
  20. Okay, I was reading elsewhere, that in the original KOTOR, if you were a female Jedi (but not Sith), you could romance Juhani! Is this true or not?
  21. Well, perhaps not. But is inferred by the mention of Cassus fighting against the Republic during some battles. Maybe I just took it a step further and assumed that as a wanted man, fighting in a war that just ended, and a name like Fett, that he was probably a Mandalorian.
