It's a great show. It all makes sense in the last few episodes of the season.

Obvious mental health problems? I've seen some of the most trained specialists misdiagnose or given people a clean bill of health. You'd be surprised how easy it is for people to hide their mental illnesses from medical specialists. If someone wants to hide their mental illness, they will use cunning and guile to hide it from the most professional of medical experts.

Overhaul didn't leave out 'all' the cinematics. They left 'most' of them out. They did enhance and kept a couple of the cinematics in. Obviously with the delayed date and everything else with Overhaul, time was an issue and they couldn't get around to doing everything. Overhaul was stil working on the enhanced world map after their first release date was delayed. That tells me they were behind the eight ball a few weeks ago. It's only coming to light how far behind they are with 'enhancing' the game with having to cut original content from the game.

Reminds me of this TV ad. Children see, children do.

I have dual screens. I game on one with the volume turned down and watch TV on the other. I managed to play Diablo 3 for the last few weeks while catching up on watching all my TV shows. Even managed to watch Season 1 of Person of Interest last week. Caught up on the latest episodes of Fringe, Merlin, Walking Dead, CSI, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-0. It's great being able to do two things at once. Also watched The Expendables 2 and Total Recall (2012). Didn't mind both of them although with Total Recall, it didn't make sense how they travel from Australia to Britain.

I never watched the theatrical version of Red Cliff. To go from 4 hours 40 minutes down to 2 1/2 hours is really missing out on the story. You're basically missing half the movie. I'm not even sure how they could take so much out and make the story comprehensible.

Finally got around to watching the Dark Knight Rises last night. Really enjoyed it.

Or the disaster movies in the mid-late 1990s.

Also from the article: the use of coal, now the dirtiest fuel, continues to rise elsewhere. eg. China http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/13/business/energy-environment/china-leads-the-way-as-demand-for-coal-surges-worldwide.html 'China is expected to add 240 gigawatts, the equivalent of adding about 160 new coal-fired plants to the 620 operating now, within four years.' That averages out to an equivalent of 40 new coal-fired plants a year. Nearly one new power plant a week.

You're talking about Highlander? That had a really old man going out with a young woman.

Watched Twilight and New Moon with the gf on the weekend. Enjoyed both movies. Will have to watch the last ones to find out what happens.

It's interesting that you're calling me dishonest and denying things. Can you point to any of my posts where I have been dishonest and denied anything? No I didn't think so. Another attempt by Krezack to go on the attack with no substance to substantiate his claims. The facts remain: FACT You started pointing out Australia's 'per capita' pollution levels and how bad we are. I stated that the Falkland Islands puts out more CO2 per capita than Australia and has done so since 1990. And yet no one is working with those countries to help them reduce their carbon emissions. Everyone seems to go for the easy targets like Australia, America, etc. It should be a group effort with all countries, not picking and choosing which countries should reduce their emissions. FACT Australia spends billions on wasted programs like the desalination plants when our dams are full because Australia's idiot Climate Commisioner appointed by the Labor Party, who then panicked the Labor Government back in 2007 by predicting doomsday prophecies such as Australia wouldn't get the sort of rains they had in the past which were proven to be totally false. Our dams are currently full in our cities. Wouldn't that money be better spent on programs that would be beneficial to the environment? FACT I stated more meaningful programs should be encouraged and not just 'any program that doesn't do anything for the climate' just so you can say 'look, we're doing something'. How are desalination plants helping the environment and climate change? FACT Whenever I point out that better programs should be implemented because the current ones I've mentioned that Australia has put in don't do anything for Climate Change, you go on the attack and try to misrepresent me in calling me a denialist? What sort of crazy twisted madman logic is that. You're all for going on the attack against people but offer no suggestions or solutions. The only thing you seem to be able to do is ignore everything you reply to from a post, and use google to find links and copy/paste from websites that have no bearing on what you're replying to in the first place. It sounds like you're all for wasting money on projects that don't do anything for Climate Change but then like to stand in front of everyone and say, 'look world, we're doing something'. Here's an idea: The Australian Government gives millions to an inefficient car industry that otherwise would have been shut down years ago to produce polluting cars including cars that are petrol, diesel and hybrid cars. Why not have the government only give money to the car manufacturuers that make hybrid cars for them to be cheaper? If you make a petrol or diesel car, you won't get any subsidies. If you make a hybrid car, you will get subsisidies. The public wins because the hybrids are cheaper instead of being more expensive than normal cars. The environment wins because we're using less fuel.

According to your messiah climate scientist Tim Flannery: "Even if all the world today stopped emitting CO2, it would take probably 1000 years to maybe affect global temperature if any." Wow, he can predict what will happen in 1000 years. Going on his previous predictions, he has no more credibilty than a rain dancer trying to make it rain. No you're completely wrong. If anyone decides to ask a question, you jump all over them and start throwing insults all over the place. The fact is most people don't take you seriously because you have no ability to engage in a discussion. You're like the polar opposite of Australian Radio personality Alan Jones but worse. Alan Jones will spew bile over anyone who believes in Climate Change. You spew bile over anyone that a) doesn't believe in Climate change or b) if they believe in Climate Change but asks legitimate questions about Climate Change that don't conform to your twisted views. If anyone has legitimate questions to ask, you spew bile and insults all over them. Also Tim Flannery has been wrong on everything he has predicted. It's laughable that you even say "been bang on the money on many things". The guy is a fool and a joke to the science community and does more harm to the Cilmate Change movement than anyone could. Any self respecting climate scientist wouldn't associate themselves with him. This statement alone by you shows how much your fanaticism you really have towards him.

Krezack, the problem with a lot of scientists and their 'predictions' is that a lot of their predictions have not only been false but the complete opposite to what's happened. Lets take Australia for example and the Climate Commissioner idiot extraordinaire Tim Flannery. - In 2005, Flannery predicted Sydney's dams could be dry in as little as two years because global warming was drying up the rains, leaving the city "facing extreme difficulties with water". - In 2007, Flannery predicted cities such as Brisbane would never again have dam-filling rains, as global warming had caused "a 20 per cent decrease in rainfall in some areas" and made the soil too hot, "so even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and river systems ... ". - In 2007, Flannery predicted global warming would so dry our continent, that desalination plants were needed to save three of our biggest cities from disaster. - In 2008, Flannery said: "The water problem is so severe for Adelaide that it may run out of water by early 2009." - In 2009, Flannery said, βIn the minds of a lot of people, the rainfall we had in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s was a benchmark. A lot of our [water and agriculture] planning was done during that time. But we are just not going to have that sort of good rain again as long as the system is warming up.ββ The reality is that not only did the rain came, it filled all our dams. And we've wasted billions and continue to waste millions on desalination plants while our dams are full. A great source of continued wasted money by the alarmists. There's a famous poem you might know... I love a sunburnt country, A land of sweeping plains, Of ragged mountain ranges, Of droughts and flooding rains. Trying to say in exact terms what's going to happen in two, three, five or twenty years like Flannery has done is not only foolish, but idiotic. And this is coming from so called 'scientists'. It's not the non-scientists giving out ludicrous misinformation. The scientists are doing a fine job of doing that themselves. Here's another quote from Flannery: - In 2012, Flannery said, "Even if all the world today stopped emitting CO2, it would take probably 1000 years to maybe affect global temperature if any." Krezack, How much CO2 do humans produce on Earth and how much is produced naturally? Now I'm not a climate change denialist because the climate does change, hence 'climate change'. So please don't brand me as some denialist or other, because scientists should be questioning and examining the facts, and not be in the business of 'believing doomsday prophecies predictions'. Is it any wonder there is so much misinformation out there from climate scientists that you have so many different viewpoints on the topic.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Thrawn trilogy (Heir to the Empire) made into movies. Also the comics, Dark Empire was good too.

Me and my ilk? Nice attack there and with no substance. I live in the real world. I haven't denied anything. Price of food goes up? Demand goes down? Strange concept there. What about wage increases? Inflation? No, just ignore those things. For example, you go to a Sandwich Bar and notice the cost of a sandwich has increased by 50c and you think, 'eh, maybe inflation'. But that increase could have come from the cost of coal fired electricity going up for the Sandwich bar. The Sandwich Bar has passed on the Carbon Tax to you through your sandwich. How is that extra cost going to curb your spending? The GST was introduced back in 2000 to replace Sales Tax. Some food is GST free and some food has GST on it. Did that curb people's spending to buy more GST Free food? No, it had no effect on people's spending habits. The same will apply to the Carbon Tax. The only difference is you don't know what the Carbon Tax is affecting. I would say it's affecting everything. Is the increase in cost of items (eg. sandwich) due to the Carbon Tax, wages, inflation, etc? Nice dream world there. How is people going to change their spending habits when the more polluting items cost less than pollution free items. And again with the unfounded attackes. So if I question something, I don't care about global warning? LMAO. Good stuff. Nice strawman. Yep, we should never question anything!!! You've obviously never been to China. Krezack, you've obviously missed the points of my posts. I'm not against something meaningful to stop global warming, climate change, etc. What I'm against is idiot things like a Carbon Tax that doesn't do anything excpet cause prices to rise. Most people will always go for the cheapest items regardless of whether it's polluting or not.

No one has come forward to explain how Australia's Carbon Tax helps the environment or Climate change. Doing something has to have meaning. How is it better to do something just so 'you appear to be doing something' that doesn't do anything for the climate? No one has come forward and shown, Carbon Tax = less emissions. My work hasn't changed their ways and continue to do as they've done in the past. I still drive a petrol car because it's cheaper than buying a hybrid car. I still use a similar amount of electricity that I did last year. Nothing has changed for me and thousands of people. Australia still exports coal and other minerals to China and other countries to fuel their economies. So while Australia might take the moral high ground in saying, 'we're doing something', we're really not doing anything and still contributing to other countries (like China) in polluting the planet.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story. DId you know the Falkland Islands puts out more CO2 transmissions than Australia and has done so since 1990 on a per capita basis? Quick! we must beat the Falkland Islands into submission and get them to introduce a Carbon emissions trading scheme and curb their Climate Change criminality. Also, has the Carbon Tax changed anything in Australia except make things more expensive? Nope. The polluters just passed on the carbon tax to the consumers.

You're retiring and going to a retirement home soon LadyCrimson?

I remember the Pumpkin party too. Also, would be good to hear on how tarna is holding up.

I never knew laws were so bizzare in Indonesia.
Hiro Protagonist replied to Gorgon's topic in Way Off-Topic
Similar thing happened with an Australian teenager last year. http://news.yahoo.com/australian-teen-freed-bali-drug-detention-055013290.html You would think they wouldn't do anything with drugs, especially in a country with harsh laws. -
My grey cat sleeps on his back and would like to know the purpose of this.

That's sad about tarna. Same with you Sargy, seeing Visc smiling made me smile and sad at the same time. I've always wondered what happened to the rest of the guys.
