Well, I'm really enjoying Almost Human. It's a mix of Blade Runner, Robocop, Minority Report, Fringe and they took all the best bits and made a TV series out of it. awesome stuff.

I agree. Chinese restaurants and chinatown areas in Western Countries are too westernised. I never realised how westernised the food was until having a Chinese girlfriend and visiting China. After 5 years, I find it hard to eat chinese food and yum cha in Western countries. Sickly sweet. My partner never goes to 'chinatown' as it's all westernised. She often finds some obscure restaurant to get as close as authentic as possible, but it's never quite right. All my Caucasian friends don't understand when I say it's not real chinese food when we're in a chinese restaurant, but my partners chinese friends all understand.

I'm not saying it's a dull Batman rip-off. You are. Nice straw man though. I'm quite enjoying it because it's Green Arrow, not a dull Batman rip-off. You can have characters influenced from other characters without being dull rip-offs. Comics do it all the time. And considering Green Arrow has been going since the 1940s, interpreted in many ways and continues to be read today, I'd say he's far from being a dull rip-off.

We don't celebrate Halloween here either. They're trying to commercialise it and push it through places like Supermarkets but most people are like 'meh, not for me'. Not something most people grew up with and really isn't the time of year for us as opposed to the Northern Hemisphere.

I don't see Moore getting back his popularity as he did before. He seems to be a product of the time, ten years ago. While he still has his fans, I haven't bothered watching anything after Fahrenheit 9/11 and moved on. Maybe because I'm apathetic to a lot of issues now. :/

The average value of a 4-year degree is increased earnings income of $900,000, almost a million dollars, compared to a high school education. I think that's worth the investment. If so many people have degrees, then why aren't they earning hundreds of thousands of dollars?

Same as above. Arrow. Awesome. Hello Ladies. Stephen Merchant comedy similar to The Office UK and Extras but without Gervais. Tomorrow People. Good remake. Agents of SHIELD. Given up on it for now. Will wait for the series to finish and watch it in one go.
