  1. To be honest i was not a fan of witcher 2 at all. I just couldnt get into it =x I guess it shows you cant create a game that caters to all.
  2. I heard about that only recently. I was actually at a book store and saw enders game with a new cover ( clearly a film cover ) Its not out Down our way yet, but from the trailer i am VERY dubious of it. I am a huge fan of the book, and i very much doubt the film could live up wo what i imagined Enders game to be. For those that have not read Enders game i highly suggest it. Its a great piece of written work.
  3. An intresting concept by my favourite physicist, Michio Kaku I would like to point out Graphene. Although its not a recent discovery i beleive most people have no idea of its existance. It is AMAZING! As soon as we can produce large quantaties it will liturally change the world around us. Mabye even give us that fabled space elevator =o
  4. I just finished King of Foxes. A great book in a series of about 10+ I highly suggest it for fans of abit of sword and magic themed books.
  5. Australian police all the way, observe. The action starts at about the 1 Min mark.
  6. Ren & Stimpy Hey Arnold Rugrats Babar Trap Door Rockos modern life Afew of my favourite cartoons. I will still happily watch/admit to watching them !
  7. Welcome to the forums ! Like yourself the games are what matter to me. But i will admit the type of consol still plays a part for my enjoyment of a game. I could never play FF7/9 on PC, it doesnt feel right. I need to have that ps controller in my hand.
  8. Chuckled abit myself. For the Signing crew might i suggest some stretching exercises, and a bout of Ibuprofen before you take on the mamoth task of signing.
  9. Thanks for the warm welcome Wal, Tuck, stark. Im glad to see i'm not the only one who enjoys older games.. The past 5 years or so i have mainly just played my old favourites. Fallout, Monkey Island, FF7/9 ( i'm sure i would be playing MasterSystem/Dos games if i still had the system for it) Like yourself stark, however this game turns out just to see it would be worth the donation. Considering who's involved in its creation. I'm curiouse to see in the near future when game ideas start to run out, they will start to remake older games with modern graphics. Such as the aparent FF7 remake, which may or maynot be a real thing.
  10. Although it would be nice to have alittle 'time' advantage with playing the game early. I'm likeing the idea of just testing the game mechanics, saving the story for its completed version.
  11. I must have missed the $8 add on. I did add more donations after Kickstarter tho, does that count? If so Spacefiller of the Obsidian Order shall be my name.. If it doesnt count. Then Disregard. Slap me, and call me Sally.
  12. I had no idea Chris Avellone was working on so many other projects. Kudos to the Avellone. @Helm Looks like i will have to change my Avatar, cant be taking yours.
  13. I was going to input some funny quotes from Fallout / Monkey Island to which there are myriad of. I instead opted for a more seriouse epitaph in the eventuality i should die TONIGHT! *Stands at attention* So I could be remembered for generations * salutes*
  14. I voted for no. Although it would be a wonderful honour to have your own voice in the game, you really need trained voice actors. Its amazing the difference a good voice actor can add to the game compared to a poor one. I really do consider any voices in a game to be very important ( which is most games i think isnt really thought to be too important )
  15. I agree Chatt, Quin. Its a hard thing to have a multiplayer game that retains a single player feel. I very much enjoy single player games but i do also miss the human ( ironic? ) interation multiplayer games offer. Its a hard thing to balance =x
  16. Regardless of this early Beta discussion, i'm sure us 'New' members will enjoy the game non the less. Welcome to the Forum!
  17. My list was: Pillars of Eternity Final Fantasy XV Thief Oddworld: New 'n Tasty! Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Odd world i was expecting at 3rd, i loved Abe's Odyssey
  18. Evening all. After following PE for alittle while i thought it was time to say hello. I was thrilled when i discovered PE ( i was alittle late in its discovery, so was unable to help with donations i had wanted to give at the origional set of donations ) I have always enjoyed games of this style. Fallout 2 ( i still consider the best game to date ) Baldur's Gate, even Diablo ( if i didnt want to think and just click ) I dont really play games anymore, i cant seem to stay intrested in anything longer than afew days. Even Skyrim i couldnt play for more then 2 weeks. Im a great fan of Morrowind tho. I think i just like living in the past xD . I was curiose at what i saw with PE but as soon as i found out Chris Avellone was involved i knew i HAD to back it ! So yes. Very much looking forward to the end product. It should be a nice refreshing change to the games i loved to play as a kid. Should the game be an absolute disaster im glad i donated to help a style of game i very much love. Glad to meet you guys and i'll See you all around = ) -Squizz [EDIT] It seems i have accidently posted twice. If the other could be deleted by a mod i would be very grateful indeed. ( Not a very good start is it xD )
