It's an HBO series that just wrapped up on Sunday. It's the classic good vs. evil set in the thirties. Here's a cut and paste job from the official web site. CARNIVALE follows a traveling carnival as it wends its way across the Dust Bowl, focusing on Ben Hawkins, a mysterious 18-year-old fugitive with hidden talents who is taken in by the carnival, and Brother Justin, the charismatic, shadowy evangelist who will ultimately cross his path. The series takes place at a time of worldwide unrest, with evil on the rise around the globe and the Great Depression wreaking economic and social havoc here at home. Ben is a healer who finds using his power comes with a great cost. Brother Justin is a bad mofo. Plus the return of circus freaks! It's a quality show that makes you want to watch each episode twice.

I thought Dxun/Onderon was the best. From the battle circle to destroying a whole whack of droids and inciting a riot. It was fun. Plus the Ossus Keeper robes were a nice bonus.

And the clone wars is nothing like 60's hercules cartoons.

Those tiny windows suck a@@, but if I had to choose that over not seeing the series I'll squint for fifteen minutes at a time.

I found one bronze crystal on my first playthrough. On my subsequent games I've not seen hide nor hair of one anywhere.

I don't know, after watching the season (or series) ender for Carnivale , Lost has lost (ha!) a lot of its appeal. I'll still watch it though....

That was a really nice piece of foreshadowing. BTW where is EP 25 ? Is that the one being held back to show prior to EP III? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was kind of wrong about the bit before the movie. I watched the dvd again and paid a little more attention. Apparently the series is the animated version of the stuff that comes scrolling down the screen right before the movie starts.
