Filling in the plot holes at the end...
junior replied to Boiler98's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Its a key part of it. One of the things that the Jedi Masters repeatedly tell you in your conversations with them is that the Exile was the ONLY Jedi to return to the Council after the Mandalorian War ended. Every other Jedi stayed with Revan. -
Hanharr and GO-TO

Mira is also wonderful when you have to travel through an area that's full of mines. Select her as your character, and suddenly the mines aren't an issue, even if you're in the middle of a firefight and your party members charge right through the middle of them. Examples include Goto's ship, and the cave leading to the camp on Dxun. -
Anyone catch the Mandalorian/BH comment @ the end?

Boba is a clone, as well. So one could argue that Jango is indeed the last Mandalorian - if in fact that's what he is (and not someone who merely adopted the armor). -
Most Memorable KOTOR 2 Moment
junior replied to darthillinovex's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
When HK-50 first introduces himself as an "HK series protocol droid". *snicker* Bastila's appearence in the corner was good, and also left me feeling a bit sad. I loved HK-47's description of why he was so upset about the HK-50 series. "Imagine that you are an exiled Jedi... and have become the absolutely lowest thing in existance." Another line from HK-47: "Master, you will note that this time I did not ask you who you wanted me to kill" or something to that effect -
If you've got the medical droid, its a huge help. Still didn't keep me from having to retry the thing for an hour or so, but its a big help.

So I guess I gotta know...Revan?

Just hit your head really hard against a brick wall a few dozen times. If you don't bleed to death first, then you have a good chance of not remembering what was under the black stuff. Of course, you may not even remember that the game is coming out. -
They probably just don't have any midichlorians where they're from. One of the worst things that Lucas ever invented.

Strength is also applied to melee damage (including lightsabers, I believe), and I'm pretty sure that Finesse doesn't change this.
-
In my game, he personally dealt with this issue when yet another group of bounty hunters ambushed me and he was in my party. Of course, he'd just sat through a bounty hunter ambush about 10 minutes earlier without saying a word. Most likely it was an ambush counter issue. Once you get ambushed the proper number of times, a cutscene takes place the next time bounty hunters ambush you to let you know that you won't be getting attacked anymore.
-
If you have a +1 bonus from strength and a +2 bonus from dexterity, ordinarily the +1 bonus is the one that would be used. If you get the Finesse feat, then you use the +2 bonus from dexterity instead. If you had a +3 strength bonus and a +2 dexterity bonus, then you'd continue to use the +3 bonus with finesse.

***UNOFFICAL KOTOR 3 WISHLIST***
junior replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Simultaneous Release and Closure are the two biggest issues that I'm concerned about. Closure in this case should be for both Revan and The Exile. Of course, the funny thing about it is that closure for Revan wouldn't even have been necessary if it hadn't been for KotOR2. Its the second game that made us start wondering what exactly was going on with him. -
The key individual was someone else in the Cantina. Check the side rooms, iirc.
-
That's not really the case, though. While there are flashbacks and conversations regarding historical events, you can still provide your own little twist on the events that took place. The Council is still going to exile you, but your arguments in front of it might be quite a bit different from mine. There are also a number of times when people come up to you and basically say, "I remember you from..." In those cases, you always have a list of options ranging from "Haven't got a clue who you are," all the way to, "Hello again!" And the game never provides any prodding as to whether you remember these people or not.
-
I don't think the first Quarren (squid guy) that you killed is named Visquis. I can't remember his name off the top of my head, but I think it starts with an "S".
-
She had a 3 second cameo, and it would have made no sense at all if she didn't show up. Yes, I suppose you could probably kill her even as a Light Side jedi. However, since the developers aren't going off of a save game file, they have to make certain assumptions, and the assumptions that they've made have generally been positive ones (as evidenced by the developer quote that if you skip the relevant questions early on in the game, then Revan is automatically male and LS). So the developers are going to operate under the assumption that you didn't kill her, which particularly makes sense given the link between the two. Mental links probably do funny things to your way of thinking that can't be duplicated in video games. imo, given who she is, and her link with Revan (emotional for a male Revan, and mental regardless of gender), she would probably be even more concerned about his location and well-being than anyone else in the first game (and still fairly concerned about the location and well-being of a "her", albeit not quite so much), and it would be rather silly to have Carth make his cameo appearence, and not slip in Bastila at some point. There's also the fact that if they don't put Bastila in somewhere, then people will speculate that she went with him.

You mentioned in another thread that you hadn't really played much of the game. Due to your post above, I have a pretty strong suspicion that you haven't actually met Atris yet. Just wait until you do.
-
As you'll find out before long, nearly every positive you listed for Revan is also a positive for The Exile. One character even constantly calls him "General" when speaking to him. You should really wait until B has been dealt with before you make any judgements.
-
Ghost - the first word in the spoiler tag doesn't really fit, but the rest of it is pretty much correct.
-
So here's the question - Do you think that the fact that both Revan and The Exile are apparently going off to parts unknown just a way to get them out of the picture for the next game in the series, or do you think the developers are going to pick up their story again (hopefully in the next installment)? Here's a fun possibility - Love interest from game 1 and one of the possible love interests from game 2 decide that they're sick and tired of waiting around for your characters, and decide to team up and go looking for them. Either the game reads off of your hard drive saved games to find out what gender/jedi type your old characters were, or it offers you the opportunity to provide that information at the start of the game (or both, for those people who don't have the saved games still sitting around, or have multiple saved games appropriately close to the end). You'd probably still have to pick who you were recruiting from the second game. And players would probably be annoyed about the fact that they didn't get to design their own unique character this time around, but were instead forced to play as Bastila or Carth (and assuming Carth bails on ladies that go DS, possibly neither).

Correct, as well as admit you read his mind and apologize (although I didn't try that option, and it never reappeared later on). If you don't mention how you know he plays Pazaak in his head, he never asks you found out.
