The boots don't work. They should grant a spell. It's not there. Even if you rest, even if you wait to get in a fight. Please fix my (expensive) boots.

Just noticed that when I DO recruit adventurers, say level 4 for instance (I'm level 5), they show up in my stronghold as level 1. Why would I pay 1000 gold to recruit a puny level 1? edit: nevermind, you need to add them to your party first in order to level them up. My bad.

I'm almost 36 and in moderately bad health - struggling with some medical problems for 6 years now, and my daily stress is strong nowadays. Games are my fuel. My health is only going to get worse, not better. I buy several books and one game per month to keep me busy and distracted. Pillars of Eternity looked so good I didn't want to wait for a promotion year or two after. Getting all worked up and enraged isn't going to help your health, of this I'm pretty sure. Enjoy your game and focus on what's really important (hint: the rephrasing of a poem inside a vidya game isn't important).

Same bug here, just unlocked the door but didn't even steal the damn thing. When I get in, everyone's hostile.

Another patch got pushed through Steam, 570Mb. Game got bumped to v.1.0.3.0526. Rogues are now fixed maybe?

Ok, so will Steam show me playing PoE Hero edition? Right now it seem to only say Pillars of Eternity. I also just found out about the pet and the items from My Products page: Pillars of Eternity - Kickstarter Hero Edition Includes the base game of Pillars of Eternity. Added bonuses include the Giant Miniature Space Piglet and Gaun's Pledge pre-order items. So it doesn't seem that Kickstarter backers have different items, as suggested in this thread.

I wish we backers could get it earlier. But getting it near the end of the week might actually allow me to get some work done.
