  1. The true Sith *were* a race, and they once had an empire. However, they were eventually annihilated. Only their philosophy lives on in holocrons and followers of Sith doctrine.
  2. There's no evolution - they're all masters, just masters of different things. You can choose any one prestige class no matter what your starting class was.
  3. Same here. Hopefully, KotOR 3 can tie up the loose ends. I'm hoping they toss out the 'splash screens' altogether. They just left me feeling frustrated.
  4. All of the Jedi classes have persuade as a class skill, so it takes only one point no matter what class your character is. That includes all prestige classes as well.
  5. I kinda like T3, but he can't hold a candle to HK-47. :D
  6. I'll be more than happy if KotOR 3 accomplishes this. I'm going to continue to be frustrated until a sequel is officially announced, though.
  7. Revan is by far the most touched by the Force. However, the exile is a special case:
  8. I say that if KOTOR 3 is a direct sequel, it can ignore the 'splash screens' for all I care. It seemed like they were put in place just in case KOTOR 3 wasn't made, but that's just me.
  9. I'd rather have the exile as the main character, but if BioWare develops the game instead, then they'd better go with Revan. Only the creators can do their characters justice.
  10. I liked Fallout's ending, personally. But in Fallout, you're not really given a chance to attach yourself to any place or person. In KOTOR 2, you *can*, and it feels like they're being thrown away.
  11. That was the most aggravating part of the ending for me. Obsidian was trying to give us closure for our companions, but I think they did a very poor job. To me, it was more of an abandonment than an attempt at closure.
  12. You summed up the game's best features (in my eyes, anyway). Especially the fact that not all dialogue options are easily identifiable as 'Light' or 'Dark', just as the Mandalorian War was. I remember that I was sometimes confused as to what would take me down the 'Light' path, and eventually I just gave up on being 'Light' and just responded in conversations as I thought I would.
  13. I didn't say I wanted a happy ending - I wanted to be satisfied, and I wasn't. I don't play games or read stories to be left feeling unfulfilled in the end.
  14. Did I ever say I wanted a happy-go-lucky ending? No. I wanted a *satisfying* ending. The two aren't the same. I wanted to actually feel as if what I did mattered, but I didn't.
  15. I've been doing some searching and signs seem to be pointing that KOTOR 3 will be delayed - or canceled - thanks to the laying off of its initial development team. Seeing as internally-developed Lucas Arts games are usually crap, that's probably a good thing. Still, there's the possibility that they'll give up on it. Even though it makes them money, a first-person shooter can make them more. If it isn't made or if isn't made well, I'll never buy a Lucas Arts or Lucas Anything until it is, and I'll encourage everyone I know to do the same.
  16. Actually, you *can* 'die' in Torment and that will be your ending... you can unmake yourself through sheer force of will. You will disappear from existence, entirely, though. In a sense, you did 'die' - the Blood War is like a hell, in some ways. But it seems to be eternal redemption. There must come a time when such redemption is no longer needed. Yes, your past will be a part of you, but you must also face the future. No one is served in fighting a battle in which there can never be a victor... or even casualties, such as the multiverse works. All that seems to be accomplished is suffering - and that serves no one.
  17. Also: There's the possibility that KOTOR 3 will not be a direct sequel, allowing the questions to remain. However, I doubt that would be the case.
