  1. Oblivion? Dark Messiah of Might and Magic?
  2. I see that Sony has ditched the entry-level PS3 model (available only in the US): the one with a 20GB drive. Not many people bought this model (can't recall the percentage off-hand, but it was low).
  3. Swap the cards!
  4. Hasn't gone really. PhysX may catch on when more Unreal 3 tech games get released. i wonder what would happen if physX and Havoc actually joined forces. Not as silly as it sounds ... in fact quite possible, if someone else (AMD-ATi, Intel, or nVidia) doesn't buy PhysX first. Of course, it will need to prove to be a threat, first, say if the new Unreal engine causes a tide of people to buy soft-furnishings-flapping hardware ...
  5. Don't give up!
  6. Yeah, I really dig those NwN and KotOR FPS franchises.
  7. That's a pregnant pause to add gravitas!
  8. I know the show, I watch it religiously on Thursday nights. I wasn't aware it was a Fox production, however. I guess they have to finance their extremist views with something.)
  9. Don't forget Japan! Those sneaky guys flooded the black&white tv market with cheap colour televisions ... that's just NOT fair!
  10. Splinter Cell is a fantastic game.
  11. They corrupted me, those youffs. (I got better.)
  12. Well, your right arm is certainly approaching the next world ... "
  13. Unless they use chemosynthesis, or some photosynthesis-substitute, they ain't going to live long.
  14. Also, memory deteriorates in a reverse-exponential / asymptotic degeneration, so key plot factors could be forgotten ..! (Well, maybe not the major ones, but critical minor ones. It's not like the PC would forget their name.)
  15. If this side is in constant darkness, then all life would end.
  16. Because leaving a power vacuum would be good for US geopolitics.
  17. He doesn't like you. I work for myself. If I take time off, I don't get to charge the client for it.
  18. Are decapitations and dismemberments appropriate entertainment for 12 year old kiddies? (There was some minor nudity too but "strangely" enough I find it more appropriate for minors than gore and violence...) I'm pretty sure you are thinking of the modern 300. I'm asking about the 1962 movie that Meta mentioned. I can't recall any seriously mature themes (apart from corruption ); I saw the end of it a few weeks ago (missed the beginning, damnit, though I have seen it before, many moons ago) and it seemed pretty tame. Why not just watch it first, to be sure? I think it would be perfectly suitable: I'd rate it (at worst) as a Parental Guidance Recommended, and as you are an adult you can certainly explain any mature themes.
  19. Neither.
  20. Yes, because a war with China would be the same as a war with Iran or Turkey. Not to mention the fact that almost the entire US national debt is owned by China.
  21. Eh? Black is black and therefore blue doesn't exist. Rangers use bows and arrows, which are projectiles, ego all games with Rangers are FPS.
