  1. With different marks for different subjects, like "By Appointment" and one for the Lords and Ladies ... "
  2. It is the best scene in the film!
  3. Yeah, some sort of embossed image would be an improvement on the standard circular theme.
  4. That's an interesting approach; it allows for a (common) background (and presumably skillset/s) to be imparted via the single-player campaign and the allows people to mingle. What they need to do is have some sort of rating system, whereby people can meet freinds-of-friends, etc, so that the social groups needn't be needlessly getting on each other's ****.
  5. The whole concept of pay-by-the-month immediately changes the dynamic (at least for me); no longer am I just playing, suddenly I have to beat the clock and get "value for money". Which is certainly an exercise in (formal) play, but not particularly rewarding when the exercise is merely fed-ex a bunch of rat corpses.
  6. Doesn't everyone?
  7. Guilty as charged.
  8. I wouldn't put it past him to buy a flying fortress (even for a makeshift house).
  9. Not having watched the US version, I am completely lost with your insufficient explanation.
  10. I think they were all guilty of 'phoning their performances in. Maquire was by far the worst culprit.
  11. ^^ I just read about that in Hinge Factor. Here's one I like today: plus ultra. cf. ne plus ultra
  12. I just watched Papillon; I don't recall watching it since probably it first came out, back in the early seventies. Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman are sensational.
  13. ... And every bug fixed is a new opportunity for many more to spontaneously appear! Also, 3rd party tweak guide. NwVault Toolset Guide http://www.nwn2toolset.dayjo.org/
  14. If he absolutely has his heart set on it aren't there some old Soviet planes that had tail gunners? From the sixties. They're bound to be running somewhere in Africa. Too late, he's got a degree in Ancient History and followed it up with law, and now he pratices the latter in Papua New Guinea.
  15. Also, they could stick the hypodermic somewhere else for those who want pristine arms.
  16. Getting results, because his team is productive. It usually lets some good managers rise to lower-middle, where their management skills are useful. The upper area is a political battlefield ...
  17. Ah, but has she got red hair?

    What

I like the fact that it is dubbed in Arabic. :D
  19. Owing to human nature, there are a lot more who place their own upward mobility in front of their team's harmonious workings. Unfortunately. Short-sighted ignorance is pandemic.
  20. Yes, I think I'll play a bit more of it tonight.
  21. That's what I mean. How did they create this alter-ego. This stuff bothers me.
  22. How in the hell did they defang that thing? Hmm, maybe just file them down and cap off the holes the venom flows through. They just pull 'em out, don't they?
  23. Yeah, in my experience there are (broadly speaking) two types of management style: bottom-facing and top-facing. The bottom-facing manager will be a great leader, an inspiration to their team, and promote a great work environment to encourage them all to do their best individually and collectively. The top-facing manager is more interested in being a member of his management chain, and treats his team like a bunch of commodities that are to be exploited for maximum benefit for the company, regardless of the consequences, just so long as they earn admiration from their higher-ups.
  24. So they can change their transformations? Because some of them have some pretty terrible alter-egos.
