  1. I am seriously considering buying both ...
  2. The comes with the original Neverwinter Nights (and both expansions), the Blessed of Waukken in game item, a pewter ring and TEN pre-generated good characters!!!11!!!!eleven!!one!!1. (Did I mention the A3-sized cloth map?)
  3. That's not what he said.
  4. Well, it has to be implemented properly. Though Microsoft and Intel have been talking about secure hardware designs for over a decade now (nearly two, iirc), prevented merely by backward compatibility with the x86 (iirc, again).
  5. Um, I have the new White Label version, and the intro video is in a smaller screen too. The main game still takes fullscreen, though. Does the game work in fullscreen?
  6. Pies lesu domine Dona eis requiem
  7. Islam has lots of Luthers: the Muslim structure has many scholars who interpet the Qur'an, which is why it is both foolish and completely wrong to make swingeing generalizations about Islam and Muslims.
  8. Yes. Now watching M
  9. Sure a single application (read: game) might not be the best use of multiple threading, but there are definite advantages. Firstly, it allows for added security / stability (run the critical kernel processes on one core, WITH its own cache (and RAM, if necessary), like the Security Reference Monitor
  10. I still think that $40 would be better spent somewhere else ... like on the graphics card. Buying technology for the future is FRAUGHT with jeopardy. You will probably upgrade your mobo in the meantime, and that will lead to ... anything. Buy the best equipment, that you can afford, RIGHT NOW.
  11. You keep your perverted fetishes to yorself, Mr Drabek. That was a quote from Holy Grail, in case you didn't know.
  12. Nah, people in bars are renown for their height ... you'd be the pretzel-fetcher in every bar outside Denmark ... "
  13. Yeah, because paper can't be faked.
  14. I was just sent this recommendation from Amazon.
  15. It sucks? I dunno, given that it seems all of mine and Blue's discussion over V for Vendetta seems to have been blocked out (about the movie, about the comic and about othe dystopian future movies like 1984, Brazil and so forth that I'd hardly consider spoilerific), it seemed a little more than a request, thus why I kinda thought some clarification was needed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I don't always have limitless time to edit each and every post to pefection (except mine, of course ) so I may have been a little heavy-handed with the spoiler tags on this occasion. Then again, it's not like the text is banished from sight forever: I'm not building a book bonfire ... just try not to reveal the endings / critical plot twists / etc of books / films / plays under discussion, without wrapping them in the discreet [ spoiler ] tags. No matter how old they are. Some people are only just beginning their life journeys: the fact that 1984 was written half a century ago is irrelevant to a teenager about to read it, for example. I trust this makes sense. PM me if you need further clarification. (And yes, it is a request, not an order: this is all about being nice to others here; try to imagine how you would feel if you were about to read an Alexandre Dumas novel and someone tells you the denouement ... there goes fifty thousand words of anticipation!) You're right. The person responsible has been shot. And the person responsible for shooting the person resposible has also been shot.
  16. BUT <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is great to see scientific method being applied with such rigour. Kafty, low doses of radiation are health-giving. They do not, as far as current research evinces, retard growth. nb: quoted source footnote.
  17. Right At Your Door. Okay. Fight Club started well, but ended with a whimper. Terrible waste of a good idea. Haven't read the novel; I expect it is much better if the ending is handled better. **** Also, please use [ spoiler ] tags to keep stuff from people who might happen across it before they have had the enjoyment of watching / reading the art in question. Thank you.
  18. ^ Yeah, I must buy that now, as I missed most of it.
  19. Let's keep the conversations about topics and NOT members, please.
  20. Not as much as I would like, however. Seemed to be quite sublime, with deep characters and complex plots.
  21. Yeah, why is he impersonating a middle-manager of a content provider (read: head of a film studio in the age of TimeWarner, et alia, where the studios are just a small item in the entire content provision of a mega-corporation)? If anything, you'd think he would have made enough money / fame / whatever to make some original material. Dambusters? Why remake a classic?
  22. What if, in some distant and magical future, it is possible to get the "you" out of you, and put it into something / someone else ..? "
  23. You aren't going to build a magical device to help stupid LAZY people. Wikipedia works as well as it can: if one reads an uncited section, then it is just conjecture (automatically). Until I have seen true and reliable (accurate and precise, that is, in scientific lingo) text, then it is just opinion.
