  1. Although I can appreciate both methods, it makes more sense to me to achieve a particular score (B) ... coincidentally (or not) I played D&D first.
  2. It's more when the drives are nearly full that they slow down. You can buy it again. I'm just at the end of Hell's Kitchen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But but but did Deus Ex go out with Ion Storm, is what I'm asking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, they did the sequel and Thief 3 afterwards. Also, linkie.
  3. Nope. Without the trappings of power they are more vulnerable.
  4. I don't disagree that a GOOD VOICE actor, that happens to be a GOOD ACTOR, is great. But they cost big bucks. And there ARE many Michael Ironsides-soundalikes waiting for their big chance ...
  5. They had a couple of well known voice actors at least. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LINDA CARTER! (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Patrick Stewart. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Patrick Stewart sounded like he would rather have his toenails removed with pliers than read that dialogue.
  6. Being a good actor doesn't automatically make one a good VOICE actor, hence my emphasis.
  7. How tall do you think Beyonc
  8. I really don't see the point in big names ... all they did was bankrupt the voice acting budget. Better to have a bunch of unknown GOOD VOICE actors, rather than a couple of (well known) GOOD actors.

  10. I would conclude that her heart wasn't in it. Never assume extra intelligence when negligence will suffice.
  11. So you dont wear them while tending the Tulip fields!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In the shadows of the wooden wind mills? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Never seen a tulip field; just isolated tulips in peoples gardens. I saw a wooden wind mill once, but I was in germany at the time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're a tad young and evidently ignorant of Dutch Seventeeth Century history. Tulipomania
  12. Hey, that's really cool. Here's my latest:
  13. System Shock 2 (w00t)
  14. They are two cropped and shrunk photos from my lovely 8.1Mp Sony Cybershot DSC-N1: one of the originals was over 13MB.
  15. There's evidence that the sun has an active cycle lasting many centuries; this caused the mini Ice age (1600s) when the Thames froze regularly, for example. Further, the sun appears to be entering a low activity phase ...
  16. DeNiro improvised that entire scene.
  17. Nah. You're forgetting that there is a two-term limit for Presidents. Even Tony Blair will be out of office within a year. That's the benefit of democracies, as Churchil said:
  18. If you really want to get to him, date one of his daughters.
  19. Has someone been editing?
  20. The graphics programming will be larger on a platform that has a more complex graphical system. So, all other things being equal (i.e. assuming that a game of similar complexity and length on all platforms), the platform with the more complex graphics will cost significantly more. Otherwise graphics wouldn't be an issue: all games would have the best graphics available. Which isn't the case.
  21. No, it adds playing depth, as the player can utilize the probability process of the speechcraft skill.
  22. Heh. Finished Half-Life 2:Episode 1, only to find that I was within one savepoint of the end the first time I played it. Thinking of uninstalling Steam now, to free up some hardrive real estate. HDs are significantly faster when they are emptier. Just re-installed Deus Ex ... up to Hell's Kitchen :D
