Dear lord, he's going to get a Fedora and start oddly sexually snapping at us as he and his lackies approach doing some sort of dance! For some reason Jim Carrey's "The Mask" comes to mind.

A no nonsense approach is exactly what this country needs. Seriously >.> The world is becoming a meaner place. Resources are becoming more and more scarce. If society is going to survive with positive forces at work, there needs to be changes. With each new set of births into this world for every one death, the life of a single person is cheapened further(in an economic sense).

Block "o" Text Either you are using some word to type program that records your voice, or you have an unhealthy addiction to "O"reos :3 But seriously, the media is indeed more or less sensationalist when it comes to bad news. That is a given. My beef with the Media however, is that they choose only to report things that are anti conservative if they can help it or simply omit reporting stories that equalize the constant "black on black or white on African American" violence/ authority vs African Amercans. If the news did not create this culture of modern hatred/mistrust, they certainly are not doing anything to alleviate the tensions. Instead they would rather equivocate (probably a better term for this) the facts and always paint Black people as "helpless victims" while claiming that White people have all the power and ALL the rights.

It is definitely a good show, but I feel they sacrificed a lot to make the show what it is. I pretty much rewatched Avatar the Last airbender beore watching legend of Korra and the first things that jumped out at me wasn't even the art style. It was the MASSIVE changes to society, technology, and a decrease in spiritual thought or concerns. I am current with the series now and those misgivings are somewhat meliorated given the events of book 2 and what the conclusion to which means for the world. am I allowed to discuss spoilers?

Last night, I watched a livestream of the protests going on live. I've got to say, it is VERY HARD for me to hold ANY sympathy for the "protestors" when they are invading stories, looting, and trying to burn others down. I mean, I know they don't trust the police to do their job because the police wanted to protect the officer and the officer's family from possible mob lynchings, but if they want credibility, why the hell are they breaking more laws in the sake of finding justice for one disputed event? This part of "Black In America" culture always baffled me. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised this is the way the protestors react when all the major media outlets seems to exclusively post stories of "White on Black" or "Black on Black" violence.... Never the other way around or including other ethnicities.

I think we should stick to tab highlighting. I may be a tyro when it comes to CRPGs now a days but search skill is a TRAP, unless if there are actually secret doors/containers to find, which are also part of the role playing experience. But for every other mundane container/ looty hidey hole, I feel that tab selecting is the best option. If we use an exclusive search tool, it will essentially force every single completionist minded player to build a character that has extremely high search capabilities thus lowering the diversity of the class/race configurations the player will run.

BETA LIVESTREAM INFO/COMPILATION: Bro, do you even Livestream?
averagedog replied to Bryy's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
streams are overrated I don't understand why people would do it unless they are someone that already has a following like certain gaming Youtubers such as Northernlion or Totalbiscuit.- 113 replies

Thoughts on Gamescon Stream

is that level 12 for the overall game or is that level 12 for the beta? If it is level 12 for the overall game, that is quite interesting. it would put much more emphasis on every level and how the choices you make affect your character. But at the same time, it does make you wonder just how much vertical content is available. Does anyone remember what levels were actually attainable in BG1, BG2, and IWD2? -

to be fair, Divinity Original Sin is artificially long by virtue of the combat system and the action lag between moves of the characters and the enemies. Unlike Divinity Original sin, we are actually going to have that mega dungeon to explore, among all the other side quests needed for our stronghold. I think Pillars will have the same amount, if not more actual content than Divinity original sin. But This game looks like it will have a lot less animated eyecandy. -
Game looks great, but...

Yea, the character models may look a bit basic or "washed out", but it still has more detail than the low spec models for Diablo 3. I am far from a #PCMASTERRACE60FPS guy and have never had a gaming rig that could show me the #GLORIOUS60FPSREVOLUTION standards that Totalbiscuit raves about like a mad lunatic. But, I enjoy the mechanics and the story of a game, much more than the graphics. Sure it helps to immerse myself in the world the game devs created, but when it really comes down to it. I am the one that personally needs to "imagine" to make the experience an experience to enjoy. -
As a powergamer, the description of abilities and what they influence makes it more difficult to make the "correct" decisions. There are clearly no dumpstats if you want to make a well rounded character. Dividing the defensive stats among all the non might ability options was a very very smart move. The distribution does make it easier to stat out a "role playing" character though. Like lets say you make a muscular wizard with low/average might. This can reflect his physical strength but his arcane power weaknesses despite being a Wizard of the studies. It has been too long for me to really remember, but has there been any mention of a release of the ruleset for this game in a player's handbook form?

Upon watching that Rap battle video, I've got to say, the creators of that video are Incredibly biased. They glossed over the actions of Hamas and instead focused exclusively on the admittedly dumb relationship between the US and the incredibly caricaturized Jewish Leadership. (Though I agree with their opinion of our foreign policy >.<)

You know, Ethnic tensions over the origins of Palestininans and Jews in the region, there is always one thing that is consistant. HAMAS Makes life worse for both Palestinians and the Jews. Why do the Palestinians living in the area tolerate HAMAS and their actions?
