  1. Nothing like beating an opponent to death with his own fists. Having 3 hands (2 of your own + 1 of your opponents) should give you an extra attack per round
  2. Please no? The only funny one was Pazaak, and that was completely optional. Didn't the guys in the interview say something about making them all optional (phew) ?
  3. Got any pics? Nah, it was the tail that was important. The low-cut red and grey vest was easy to make in photoshop. Replace the colours on the bikini with the skin colour range. Retouch the leather traps and then you can put a new layer with the vest colours on top of that
  4. just like this eh? B) Definitely better than the roadkill currently on their webpage...
  5. Time to revive an old thread. This topic definitely deserves a bit more respect and a few answers. Did you only have Obsidian developers, game developers or developers in general in mind ?
  6. That's part of the problem. They don't want mods. Ever watched the discussions about Kotor modding on the Bioware boards ? The information control would have made an Iraqi information minister proud Lucasarts is probably scared silly by the thought of Twi'lek pr0n all over the internet.
  7. Modified Bastilas bikini to look Annah's vest. Unfortunately, she missed the most important part, her tail Never figured out to add that extra geometries. Deleted the modified texture in disgust...
  8. Actually, F.U. mentioned in an interview long ago, that they might want to try something else besides crpgs some day. Can't remember the exact wording (or even if it was F.U. who said it). Can anybody jog an old mans memory ?
  9. Apart from the battle animations, they could add a little more drama to the death animations. Even if we can't have JA2 or FO2 style outcomes of battles. How about making the PC version M-Rated, since it's going to sell in smaller quantities anyway ? B)
  10. The Force is strong in marketing. Blood and guts would limit the number of potential buyers because of the censorship rating. On the other hand, Obi Wan didn't exactly split in half and drop his enthrails on the floor when Vader made Jedi Schnitzel of him in the first movie.
  11. Teh h0rror, somebody actually listens to you Like H.K. said, Tombraider used to be good, at least for the first two games. Wouldn't mind seing Obsidian doing something original though, along the lines of a crpg/exploration game instead of the umpteenth crpg/combat game If I want realtime combat, I'll play Pacman
  12. Sigh... The original Tombraider on a new engine wouldn't really be that bad a thing. It su**s having to run it on glide emulators. Curse 3Dfx for that awful proprietary interface thingy... However, odds for Tombraider being developed by Obsidian are probably bad. Doesn't Core exist still ?
  13. Fallout: TNG ? B)
  14. Yes. Yes I have. It was fate, I tell you. Fate!
  15. To the left: Randy Cook, his team and him, triple Oscar winner for special FX in LOTR (including Gollum ). In the middle, Mr. Oscar himself and to the right (and in the need of a shave and a haircut) Mr. Gorth http://au.f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/gorth2...f&.dnm=c392.jpg The guy (the one to the left) is fascinating. Intelligent, modest and funny, a rare combination in one person. Not often you get the pleasure of their presence Anybody else met people, where you know after having met them, that there might just be a reason for why they are where they are, and not just by accident ?
  16. Its probably art (somewhere), as in, it is whatever the observer makes of it. Does look kind of scary though... Can't wait to see the if there is an animated version in the Kotor2 intro credits
  17. But first you have to make a name for yourself in the markets where the money is. I was tempted to say casual gamers, but thats not quite true. The biggest spending power is teenage girls, we would get the Rpg... But the second largest spender are bored teens with too much pocket money. Once you get a pipeline into that and secure an income (too avoid eviction notices f.x.) you can start dreaming about what you really want to do. Somehow, I trust Obsidian to actually create something, even an old PS:T fan like me would appreciate. According to EGM, they are not spending more time than absolutely necessary on the engine itself (quickslots/hotkeys, yipee), that would leave helluva lot of time for things like additional animations, models, powers, skills etc. not to mention plot and story, which used to be the strong point of old BIS B)
  18. Eventually discovered love, married, two kids, gave up Jedidom ? Edit: But she still uses Force Push to get the old swoop out of the garage...
  19. Dont trust people who use the word trust, whether negatively or positively. Trust me...
  20. So none of the female main cast is going to have a tail...
  21. Lets see... You are the only remaining (lightside) Jedi in the universe. So Bastila, Jolee and Juhani are probably dead or turned Darkside. The walking carpet went back Kashyyk. Mission is either dead or on Kashyyk harvesting Tach glands for Griff to pay off his debt. Hk-47 got deactivated or is currently testing old "protocols" for his new and old master. Carth is hanging around in the Cantina on Tattooine, getting drunk and feeling very sorry for himself. Canderous joind the universal peace-movement (make love, not war) T3 said something about: "I'll be back!" with heavy Californian governour accent Did I forget any ? :D
  22. It might be a bit difficult as the fate of some of them were determined by the players actions. I know at least at couple of Jedi's, a thief and a wookies lifespan was cut short by me in half the games I played. They seemed to emphasize in the interview, that the choices you made in Kotor1 should have as little impact as possible in Kotor2, Thats probably why you get T3, His dialogue is easier to quote in the sequel
  23. Give the little guy AT (All Terrain) ability, a Fusion Call, a Cattle Prod, a Flamethrower and a Bozar. Lean back and watch him rock! *bzzt* *ouch*, *dakakaka* *splat*, *whooosh* *arghhh...* B)
  24. Thats a tough one. Most of the war movies out there, are unrealistic, war-glorifying crap. It's almost easier to mention some actor names and stereotypical plots, than list the 22314 worst war movies Names like John Wayne, Sylvester Stallone, Van Damme, the individual against the rest of the world and the individiual wins idiocy. Well, to get back off topic, my favourie hate movie would be... damn, can't even remember the exact title of the disaster anymore, I think it was "USS Nimitz" about a modern carrier that gets sucked through a hole in time and space and ends up in 1941. All foreplay building up to a never happening climax
  25. The internet, you have to love it and hate it at the same time...
