  1. I have no problem with that. The Devs should come on here more often and get to know the fans better. Perhaps they used to come here more often, got to know the fans better and then decided not to come that often anymore ? Or they could be busy making games... Or making kids... Or
  2. 1) This might belong in the spoiler forum 2) She left you because she was disappointed in you. Dunno if that helps you, but thats why
  3. Isn't that how people usually form their own country? That and armed rebellions of course. That, or losing a major war to powerful enemies. They have a habit of drawing lines in the sand and splitting up countries into smaller, manageable chunks (see Ottoman Empire, Austro Hungarian Empire etc.) Does that mean we can take Hans Island now ?
  4. For some Malkavian entertainment... try Bedlam in the middle of the streets of Hollywood. Talk about bum fight :D
  5. I can't remember where the arm originally came from. Does your character rip it from some victim or what? The original owner didn't have a license to carry arms... :-"
  6. The one I tried was everything beta. 1 hero, 1 single player mission, 1 race etc. No configuration (and worse, no save game) :-"
  7. The Homm V demo, with all it's beta limitations was more fun to play than Homm IV.
  8. Well, if they could sort of "patch" Telos back into one piece again, they might have done the same to Taris once whatever happened after K2 was over and done with...
  9. Toreador ? YOU speakin from the Nosferatu woman ??? Hey! She was Miss Nosferatu 2005
  10. Who or what is Lou Gutman ?!?
  11. Nosferatu has a distinct "feel" to them when playing the game. Besides getting a nice sewer home (ARE YOU LISTENING OBSIDIAN?), you need slightly different approaches to some of the problems, where you would normally use conversation with the other clans. It was also the first time I tried playing a female vampire, she was just too sexy in that leather outfit
  12. Sounds good. What's a crpg without maps ?... Meh, I prefer to play as humans most of the time. Depending on their AI/Control, could be great. Sounds like a spellcaster. Never cared much for mages (tried Wild mage a few times in BG2) This one makes me wary of the game. Could end up prolonging it's shelf life until somebody makes a sewer add-on Even on the rare occasion where I played a mage in BG2, I never bothered with a familiar. Never saw the point in them Since I'm not a modder and usually play my crpgs alone, I don't care about the games potential. I'll wait and form an oppinion on what ships in the box for 1 player
  13. Because they had to do a lot of grovelling to get it in the first place ?
  14. I think CPU speed is irrelevant until the surrounding architecture catches up
  15. Heathens and unbelievers. You guys have no sense of smell adventure
  16. Next thing you know, they will also drop ritual virgin sacrifices See this thread http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=39309 and the link to the interview. Much concern over the future of crpgs and the quintessential rpg elements :'( I say, adventurers unite! Join the good fight... Edit: Forgot link :">
  17. Yes! (w00t)
  18. Yes. One slip of the tongue and you are stuck in Santa Monica Not like being a nosferatu. Nice real sewers as your home home
  19. Gorth replied to Commissar's topic in Way Off-Topic
I have a few, but I would get in serious trouble with HR >_
  20. Not to mention, where would you go and kill rats ?!? You just can't make a crpg without sewers, it just simply isn't done >_ How do you start a petition for sewers (and crates) in NWN2 ?
  21. Did it for a while. But after 6 months, there were only a few "die hard" fans of the rules left. It's one thing about the hobby, that it's more fun when you meet new opponents regularly
  22. Force Masonry (grey side mastery ?) Or a combo of force speed, force push, force stun. Should stick some bricks together in a hurry and keep them there. Still a good question though.
  23. Just guessing here: A new company getting experience for a new team (check) The management get to know other publishers than Interplay (check) Getting some money on the bank, enabling growth and hopefully some room for experimentation (check) Getting the employees the opportunity to add something to their resumees, whether it be art, music, modelling, whatever (check) Having Feargus make coffee for you (check) Playing UT2004 and BF2 at work (check) Get to watch E3 babes live (check) Could probably add a few more items to the list. Should be worth it, crunch time, rabid community members etc. included...
  24. Used to play the miniature version of 40k. Got started painting some squads and vehicles nicely enough, right up until the 3rd edition ruleset was released. Then the game went the way of the Dodo among the people I used to play with (nobody liked the new rules). Now my Imperial Guard army is resting in it's barracks together with my sizeable contingent of imperial agents (adeptus sororitas, adeptus mechanicus, adeptus assassinorum, inquisition etc.), until they are needed again. Epic: Gone, Warhammer 40K: Gone, Necromunda: Never found anybody to play with (effectively gone), Dawn of War: Never cared much for computer versions of the GW stuff (effectively gone). Never got into Gorka Morka either...
  25. What about those ceramic tiles that space shuttles use ? Seems to be doing their job very well as long as they stay put.
