Classic was perhaps the wrong word, not sure what to call it really then. The kind of games you will still play in 1, 3 and 5 years time. There are games you play intensely when you get them for a while (and definitely gets your moneys worth, thats not the issue) and there are games that are just special somehow. Even after a long time, you'll re-install them and give them a go (or find a &^%$ emulator that will run them *cough*Tombraider*cough*)... If we are talking about "old rose-coloured glasses", then Ultima IV is still the best crpg ever made :D But it's all subjective.

It really depends on your preferred "flavour" of crpgs. For me, games of the kind I prefer died with Jefferson and Van Buren :'( Kotor 1&2 were nice games without having the stuff classics are made off, leaving pretty much only VMBL to truly excite me, flaws, bugs and firstperson perspective included... Ah well, perhaps in 10 years time again

Apart from the first couple of games where all characters got tried out, exploring dialogue etc. it has more or less become T3 as my main companion, followed by either Mira or Hanharr, depending on whether I play DS or LS. Plus, I take care not to convert Mira to a Jedi. Way too many jedi in the game. But then, I hated Kotor1 for forcing me to change class into a jedi too...

The tank droid is easy. I always have Atton and Bao Dur. Have the exile and atton attack the droid with vibroblades, and have Bao Dur use ion grenades. Five grenades, and thats all it takes. Well... Bao Dur wasn't that good a shot with grenades for me and Atton sort of had to stick to his trusty blaster (it's a role playing thing). And that rebalance mod sure did a difference, because when I played it afterwards as a guardian instead of a consular, I whacked it to pieces with ease with my blade. I can definitely recommend that "adjustment" for those who are fed up with consulars beating the crap out of everything with their blades/sabers without breaking a sweat.

PC Although the "favourite" is to be taken with a grain of salt. I still blame the PC for ruining computer gaming and killing the Commodore Amiga market, mass producing simple, braindead, dumbed down games compared to the Amiga, not to mention the awful controls and hardware limitations...
