  1. Not to mention, where would you go and kill rats ?!? You just can't make a crpg without sewers, it just simply isn't done >_ How do you start a petition for sewers (and crates) in NWN2 ?
  2. Did it for a while. But after 6 months, there were only a few "die hard" fans of the rules left. It's one thing about the hobby, that it's more fun when you meet new opponents regularly
  3. Force Masonry (grey side mastery ?) Or a combo of force speed, force push, force stun. Should stick some bricks together in a hurry and keep them there. Still a good question though.
  4. Just guessing here: A new company getting experience for a new team (check) The management get to know other publishers than Interplay (check) Getting some money on the bank, enabling growth and hopefully some room for experimentation (check) Getting the employees the opportunity to add something to their resumees, whether it be art, music, modelling, whatever (check) Having Feargus make coffee for you (check) Playing UT2004 and BF2 at work (check) Get to watch E3 babes live (check) Could probably add a few more items to the list. Should be worth it, crunch time, rabid community members etc. included...
  5. Used to play the miniature version of 40k. Got started painting some squads and vehicles nicely enough, right up until the 3rd edition ruleset was released. Then the game went the way of the Dodo among the people I used to play with (nobody liked the new rules). Now my Imperial Guard army is resting in it's barracks together with my sizeable contingent of imperial agents (adeptus sororitas, adeptus mechanicus, adeptus assassinorum, inquisition etc.), until they are needed again. Epic: Gone, Warhammer 40K: Gone, Necromunda: Never found anybody to play with (effectively gone), Dawn of War: Never cared much for computer versions of the GW stuff (effectively gone). Never got into Gorka Morka either...
  6. What about those ceramic tiles that space shuttles use ? Seems to be doing their job very well as long as they stay put.
  7. And measure the temperature of your computer. Running too hot inside the casing makes weird things to boards... I managed to fry the bios on my old Matrox gfx card once a long time ago (because a case fan was temporarily disabled). Managed to reflash it though, but while out of order, it wouldn't show any resolution lower than 1024x768 >_
  8. Does board members count ? Some of them are pretty flame resistant
  9. Now you scare me  I only noticed two new "features" after installing 1.0b, choppiness on Dantooine where I had none before and two handed weapons started to duplicate themselves in my inventory Perhaps I should just go back to 1.0... at least I had a no-cd patch for that one "
  10. I suddenly lost any kind of interest I might have had in this game :'(
  11. Wasn't it Kaftan who dedicated a thread to Uwe Boll once ? Edit: Sorry, it was TentamusDarkblade: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=262579
  12. You think he *gasp* got a life ?!? :'( I sort of miss him around here
  13. What he said While the surface of Malachor V was pretty "empty" of anything interesting to do, at least it had a nice spooky athmosphere.
  14. I wonder why people keep saying that :-" Kreia did *not* want the death of the force, as she knew all (ok, most) life in the universe was connected to it. Thats why Nihilus had to be destroyed (otherwise, Nihilus would have killed the force and the universe). Kreia wanted to free the galaxy from what she considered the control (manipulative nature) of the force and have people live without it like the Exile used to... She might have had all the traits of a kickass Sith Lord (Lady?) but her motives were not as clearcut selfish.
  15. Sheesh, let me get this straight: You are going to get stuck in an apartment with 5 girls, in temperatures below -15, most likely bogged down by snow, unable to do anything outside and trying to stay warm indoor... and you want us to feel sorry for you ?!? That should be worth an annoyance and a chutzpah point
  16. Personal favourites (besides Master of Orion 2) are War in Russian and Pacific War. The last two formerly from SSI, now Matrix games if I remember correctly. Both are available as free downloads from the publishers web site.
  17. Darth Trask... You never got to see what happened behind that door. Perhaps he was just receiving instructions from his new masters "
  18. Just imagine the dialogue options... As for Selkath, I posted a nice Selkath recipe a while ago. Too lazy to dig it up again.
  19. Not a place I normally go, but since the link was there. Hilarious read and unfortunately, he does have a lot of valid points
  20. The dissection part was sort of gory  Perhaps you should warn people before they follow that link
  21. Kotor2 was probably aimed more at the crpg crowd than the sw crowd (just a suspicion) ? Star Wars seems be all about simple, clear cut situations (any problem should be solvable with a lightsaber) these days
