  1. As far as endings go, the Kuei-Jin was hilarious. I must shamefully admit, that I was surprised :">
  2. Gorth

    summer

Well, it might be summer on the northern hemisphere
  3. Why do I get a sense of Deja-Vu reading this thread ? :D
  4. So much for playing games once It is quite addictive though. Now if some of those ex-troikans can work the same kind of magic on other games
  5. Because people are jerks sometimes ? You might as well ask why kids on the backseat keep asking "Are we there yet?" every ten minutes on a eight hour car trip... You can try to apply logic if you want to, but it might not help.
  6. I thought it was the letter O from the divine alphabet. I always wondered where he went after he left "The Smoldering Corpse" bar in Sigil
  7. 18 out of 21 are black.....their team should be called...the Former French colonies football team....but then again the french, pussies and pathetic as their are....always have ways for 'others' to do their job.... So, the Foreign Legion exchanged their Kepis for Soccer Boots for a while
  8. That was the chess game where the pieces would come alive and do battle right? Good times, good times. Oooh.. I remember that one, was awesome.. think I saw a port to PC like 10 years ago, have a slight memory of playing it on a PC atleast.. Both Archon and Acrhon 2 were awesome games. From the days where EA published more than just sportsgames
  9. So what happened ? Did they come crawling on their bleeding knees, begging you to be a mod again ?!? :D Or was it the thought of all the new girl moderators that made you change your mind ? :)"
  10. The Fallout Demo was what made me buy a PC Before that, I was quite happy to just game away on my Amiga 4000. Unfortunately, Fallout Demo didn't run well on the PC emulator :">
  11. Well, would you please wish for everybody except Denmark to win in the next World Cup please ?... :o"
  12. The two games that got me into gaming were probably those I bought together with my first C64 in 1983. One was a cartridge/rom game called "International Soccer" (EA Sports, go home) and the other was a Centipede clone called "Gridrunner" by Llamasoft. After that, it was a bunch of game source codes to type in yourself from a magazine called "Your Computer". Some of those were fully the same quality of the "Commercial" games of the time. The game that got me hooked on crpgs was either a game called "Sword of Fargoal" or "Temple of Apshai", both by Epyx. Can't remember anymore which one was first :">
  13. And what a fitting ending it is too :D
  14. Go Socceroos!
  15. It is quite addictive. I've completed it four times, though not in a row. Still, for a game I was trying to avoid for a while (Troikas reputation for buggy games), I really grew to liking it. Lucky thing since I bought it at full price in New Zealand
  16. I do seem to remember falling through the street in Chinatown somehow... I just kept falling and falling, seeing the town disappear above me. Of course, it was my first game and I was a Malkavian, so madness *could* have been part of it, but I doubt it
  17. Awesome! (w00t) Thanks for the link
  18. Yeah, don't start. It's addictive. Thats putting it mildly. The last third is rather combat heavy and you really should specialise in at least one kind of combat (up close and personal or ranged). Apart from that, go with the flow and play a clan that has the right look and feel to you. Eventually try out the tutorial level a few times with the different clans just to get a feel for them.
  19. What's with the eye roll? Honestly ? I noticed your avatar and thought of icehockey. Those guys relieves a bit of emotional stress every now and then through other means than crying...
  20. I've never used my tears for manipulation. Oh, and I'm not crazy. Men are emotionally retarded... I learnt that at uni and from personal experience. It's a sad truth, so accept it. Crying is a form of release and is a good thing if it is required for the said purpose. Keeping things bottled up is unhealthy and leads to further emotional problems. That assumes that crying is the only way to prevent things from bottling up. Sometimes smashing things up, prevents it from bottling up too
  21. That would be 29-30 years ago. Got my hand burnt rather badly in some boiling water. Hurt like hell :'(
  22. I actually got an old 60gb disk as my boot/windows disk, runs as a non raid drive. For work/fun, I got a RAID 0 set with two 120gb IDE drives and a RAID 0 set with with two 120gb SATA drives. All onboard controllers. And yes, I needed to format the combined drives for the purpose of using them as a RAID
  23. I *think* that was fixed in the offical patch ? You should get consistent information from both the newspaper, Imalia and the questlist, whether you failed or succeeded.
  24. Yes :"> If you can't beat them, join them...
  25. In the Giovanni Mansion, you really only have to fight the twins. The rest you can trick, deceive or outrun (well, mostly). Fighting is also limited in Leopold (except the crazy vampire hunter) Why not ? Hollowbrook was part of what I referred to as "uninspiredcand tedious" previously Really bad compared to the rest. Hades' mileage may vary The only characters (well, Brujahs and Gangrels actually) that I havent tried... :-"
