  1. I think I got around 18 character transfers lined up (of which i might have gone through with 2 or 3 at full price) Leaving a few toons behind to play with old friends, but the bulk is moving to the pve servers (mostly harbinger and shadowlands). Bastards still wont let me transfer toons to Red Eclipse.
  2. Moved to PoE section. Wasn't sure if this fit better in the build/strategy or here in the general section. Lets see if someone can offer helpful feedback.
  3. Mildly curious about Dishonored 2. Not sure about Mass Effect. Hated the X-Com game, so no interest there. Pillars of Eternity - The White March, oh yes Total Wars series were never my thing (my inherent dislike of RTS strikes again, regardless of the Warhammer name)
  4. In a perfect capitalist system, there will be very few companies making everything, selling it a very low prices. Problem is just, everybody will be unemployed and so, regardless of how cheap the products are, there will not be a market for their products. (says Gorth the armchair economist)
  5. She does indeed. I eventually ended up rolling some characters on Red Eclipse and "Baroness Catharine" (Cathar) was one of them. Still got most of my toons stuck on Begeren though, much to my regret. Started moving some of them to Harbinger and Shadowlands. Anyone on those servers who are active at "odd hours" (which is evenings European time) give me a shout. Finally got around to try the two recent ops a few times, just in story mode (some fights as tank, some as healer). Temple of Sacrifice is... boring. Challenging in a few places, but the story is just uninteresting. Ravagers I found better, at least some of it made you chuckle (master and blaster dialogue). Had some of the wackiness of Scum and Villainy. Combat since 3.0 is bad, really really bad. I wasn't around at launch, but some of the old timers claims it hasn't been this badly balanced since release. While I look forward to the new expansion, I'm worried that the game mechanics will be left mostly unchanged (or they keep making combat less and less interesting). Only the theoretical possibility of being able to send Quinn out the airlock is what keeps me going
  6. Those agencies are like children without parental guidance. Sometimes they need a bloody nose to teach them to watch where they go. Besides, I would be surprised if both the Russians and Americans didn't know exactly who is currently members of each others spy networks. Would be even less surprised if the info was another attempt at discrediting Snowden (especially if it's just hearsay without reliable sources). As for Assange... well, he can rot in his embassy building. No sympathy for authoritarian figures trying to build a cult of personality around themselves.
  7. There, fixed the quoted bit, removing the PR talk
  8. An impressive career (and what a voice). R.I.P. Mr. Lee
  9. I smell bias. We all know they hate vowels in Poland.
  10. Not a computer game, but in the older versions of the Warhammer tabletop wargame, goblins had "elf phobia". They feared elves unless they outnumbered them 2:1. It made for some hilarious battles on occasion.
  11. Not sure what happened, haven't followed events too closely the last few months (work load related), so not going to speculate much either. Just waiting for the Fox News version where Obama will get blamed for MCA and Obsidian parting ways.
  12. It's possible that the games is good, but I read as far as "You will design custom spaceships and deploy them into real-time battles" and stopped reading. I dislike "RTS" games passionately.
  13. For this type of game, gameplay and mechanics is everything. Need actual info and gameplay videos before having an opinion. Good to see interest in the game isn't dead though (Space Rangers 2 was the closest I ever got to scratching this paticular itch while waiting for a real MoO3 to be made in some Utopian future)
  14. I'm going to take the liberty of adding a bit of extra info to this thread... Just a heads up that the Report button on cRichards post does not send a report with your issue descriptions to a developer. It sends the moderating team a message, the developers never seeing it. Since this thread is locked, the normal Reply button isn't there. The thing to do is to create a New Topic in this section and then post your report there
  15. Blatter chose the right strategy, rather than the exorbitant sums needed to buy the superpowers, he just bought all the smaller and cheaper votes. Besides, all it takes is for him to call his old friend Putin and people starts to mysteriously suffer from radiation poisoning symptoms
  16. Never seen that before. Might have to catch up on what its about later today, thanks for the heads up
  17. Whereas I have the opposite reaction: I don't generally like Pixar's style of animation, and I tend to much prefer Disney's. Give me Frozen or Tangled over Toy Story or Monsters Inc. or the Incredibles, etc., any day. Although I am willing to admit that characters do sometimes look odd in Frozen: I think Elsa looks really weird at the end of that YouTube clip, for example. Still, I prefer it over Pixar's animation. I stand corrected, I had for some reason mentally attributed a handful Dreamworks animations (Shrek, Madagascar etc.) to Pixar. Finding Nemo is one of my all time favourite stories though
  18. I just watched that "Frozen" youtube clip. The technology makes it look like a Pixar movie, but something is missing. I swear, it feels like Luxo Jr. has more soul and personality than that blonde girl.
  19. Yeah, I'm dying to run nethack on max settings!!! No, you are right. If it was just a gaming machine it would be overkill, but I do use my desktop pc for other purposes (3D modelling/rendering/animation etc., all stuff that loves as many cores and as much memory as possible)
  20. My system is becoming quite unstable under load. Sadly I lack the skills to pinpoint exactly which part is the culprit. Drivers will cause BSOD's with different messages, although the most common is 'Power Failure'. Which I "guess" leaves me with either the PSU or the Motherboard as the most likely culprits. It could also be the Gfx card draining too much power of course (despite having two dedicated 8 pin cables from the PSU). Seriously considering upgrading parts of my old system as Im tired of only having 12Mb RAM at the moment anyway. Got my eyes on a new MB, CPU and Memory (which may of course not solve my original problem at all, but at least i can then rule out those 3 components) Would probably also help with a new MB that I can remove the old PCI cards for Soundblaster, SATA3 and USB3 controllers.
  21. Couldn't have said it better myself... http://youtu.be/u7isxoTIeYM
  22. It doesn't take faith/theology for people to disagree on things. Bohr/Einstein debates Some of the greatest scientific minds of the previous century disagreed on a lot of things. Facts may be facts, but how you interpret fact can still differ a lot between individuals.
  23. It seems to be a combination of charges but the Americans want them on the 2018 and 2022 world cup corruption charges http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/27/football/fifa-corruption-charges-justice-department/?section=money_news_international Bruce... read the stuff you link to
