Sometimes it might be appropriate...( I'll avoid the message board part for now. ) Would you tell a mother, after just having survived a terrible car accident, that her husband and two children were killed? If yes, would you tell them that they were smeared across 50 feet of pavement until they went over into a canyon? How gruesome do you want to be to be 'honest'? Would you tell a failed suicide that the overdose ( of whatever ) just blew out his kidneys and he'll probably be on dialysis for the rest of his life.

I would imagine that Obsidian would like to be able to sell their games in the future. Getting put on the front of PC Gamer's Magazine due to...ahem...shall we say 'questionable photos' probably wouldn't help their future market.

Shhh! Don't rat me out. Actually, I think these types of threads once in a while are a good way to clear the air between members and mods. If you guys are happy with what we are doing, it makes our job a whole lot easier. This provides a good chance for feedback.

This is a good thread. Now's the time for you guys to let us know what you expect of us and what you complaints are. Complaints, comments, whatever, speak your piece. As modding goes, I prefer to avoid over-doing it. All that usually happens is that people get irritated about being 'controlled'. I also try to handle everything I can through PMs so that no one gets defensive.

The Chaldeans had a novel view of creation. The great dragon Tiamat was slain by the champion of the gods, Marduk Iskarios ( I think ) from which he made the Earth. Mankind was created and placed there to entertain the gods. Personally, I don't care. I wasn't there to witness the creation of the earth and it's creatures and knowing how it happened isn't going to change the way I live my day to day life.

I got the name from an old animated movie called "Heavy Metal". For being 20-25 year old animation, the babe at the end of the movie looked pretty hot. She had the nasty habit of killing people with a sword though.
