Screw tinfoil hats, they're too glaring. That tips the CIA right off. Instead make tinfoil underwear. Comfy, stylish, stealthy! -

Don't we all, at least once in our lifetime? -
40+ hours of crate smashing broken down into 3 hours of crate smashing? Sounds good.

I like the Daily Show a lot. Haven't seen it in a while, unfortunately.

^Wait, that's not a spoiler!

The cape also has another function: the lining is actually woven from ultra-fine aluminium thread which is part of the suit's radio antenna. I got this from Batman: The Last Arkham, btw. Not sure how the character's suit is composed nowadays.
-
True, but something about a more classic approach to the suit gets me anytime. That, or some of the Elseworlds variants. Remember how in Watchmen very few characters had capes? I think Moore tried to somehow point out the problems in that acessory. Dollar Bill was killed because his cape was caught in the revolving doors of a bank and some bank robbers took that to their advantage.

That costume for Bale is missing something which I think is important to the character, a noticeable bat. Wheter it was the classical black bat in a yellow elipse, or the black bat in a grey background (ie, Year One), I think it needs to be visible. That suit seems too vague. The Thing looks cool... but why does it look like a midget?

Can't wait to see Reeves walking in that cameo!

What you need is a swift kick in the.... oh... nevermind <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey, at least I didn't ask for crates! :D

What we really need are some fine tavern wenches serving us.

Topic derailing is bound to happen no matter what topic is originally brought up. Should Obsidian create specific forums because some users eventually discuss science, politics, religion, homosexuality, or crates? Not really. Not really, there's more than 2 options: 3 - People follow forum guidelines and remain on topic as best as they can. If they don't, threads get purged, split and/or moved into a more adequate forum to balance it. If they absolutely must bring up general Star Wars banter that doesn't directly deal with the game, they should keep it brief. or 4 - They can use any of the dozens upon dozens of Star Wars forums on the internet which have specific areas for general, non-Sith Lords SW banter. or 5 - If there's some sort of problem for certain forum users to post their topic on any of the dozens upon dozens of Star Wars forums on the net which have specific areas for general, non-Sith Lords SW banter, and just have to unwind here, they can very well use the Off-topic Discussion forum. No problem with it being "cluttered", really, since it doesn't get that much use in the first place. As always, all of the above is IMO, AFAIK, IANAL, and ASAP.

That's fine. There's pretty of comics I've read in the past that I can't remember either As for which one it was... the first was the Infinity Gauntlet, and it featured a recently-ressurected Thanos with the Infinity Gems and Gauntlet. Adam Warlock and the Marvel heroes gathered to try and stop the titan from conquering the universe. The second was the Infinity War, and it featured Warlock, Thanos and the rest of the Marvel heroes fighting against Adam's evil side, Magus (who thankfully no longer had that atrocious '80's haircut), and his army of evil replicas (out of which the famous 6-armed Spiderman replica survived). The third, and that I know of, final part was the Infinity Crusade, which featured the usual suspects, this time fighting against Warlock's good side, the Goddess. I must say this was my least favorite of them all, though. I think you're talking about the first, where he is ressurected by Death and given the task to slay half of the universe's population. He then sets forth to get all the Infinity Gems once he's ressurected.

Personally I liked the Infinity Gauntlet (the first one in the trilogy) much more than the others, although the Kang/Doctor Doom sequences in the Infinity War were very interesting.

Rob Liefeld and creative in the same sentence is oxymoronic

Obsidian shouldn't create a specific forum for this. People that want to discuss Star Wars material, other than KotOR 2, can do it in specific forums such as official SW forums, fan sites, or even in Off-Topic discussion. I think it's basically a topic which, outside of the licensed game, is out of place here, and wouldn't make much sense; it would be the same as creating a specific forum to discuss D&D simply because Obsidian are developing a D&D-licensed game. To address that problem of the SW forums here, that's best left to moderators.

Yeah, Crisis was a continuity fix. Kinda like Marvel's Heroes Reborn, IIRC.

While I was never a big fan of Green Lantern, I managed to ocasionally keep up with some of its developments, although the only "recent" events of Green Lantern I have ever followed more or less closely was the storyarc involving Hal Jordan becoming Parallax. I have to say I didn't liked the change. It felt too sudden, a bit out of character. It's true that Coast City's destruction would likely bring up that kind of feelings in Hal, but I wasn't expecting such a sudden twist in the personality of the greatest Green Lantern evar. When the GL duties went over to Kyle Rayner, I couldn't help but think it was a mistake. An angsty or insecure teen, as Kyle seemed to be then, being given tremendous power isn't the kind of story I like. After Zero Hour, I watched Kyle battle it out with Hal, in what was probably one of the worst fights I've ever seen. Christ, Hal took out most of the GL Corps when he decided to go into Oa to absorb the Oan Central Battery, and he lost against Kyle because Kyle, after giving the GL ring to Hal, and without the aid of any external power source whatsoever, dumped an encapsulated GL corpse over Hal, pinning him to the ground, and took his ring... did the writer at the time could have come up with anything any more childish? Hal would never drop his guard like that. Even if he had been pinned down by Kyle, the ring is moved by willpower - Hal just stood there looking at Kyle taking his ring. Good show. After that and after Hal's apparent death, I stopped caring about Green Lantern. After reading what deganawida wrote, I know I'm making a good choice. ::pictures Darque tryin' to make sense of it all :D::
