Retiring the Hades and Harvey personas
Wow, I had no clue that Hades was Gromnir. Of course, I never really read Gromnir's giberish carefully, but it's still a shock.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
You did play for 5 months though. Honestly, if most games could keep my attention for that long, I'd spend a lot less on games every year. And exactly what game ISN'T a fruitless time sink?

Religion in the Workplace.
One thing I noticed is that the head teacher said the assistant could NOT do their job effectively. I'm sorry, but he is the actual teacher in the classroom, and if he is having trouble with an assistant, it should be his right to have her removed.

What? Geez, I should cancel my account!

I look forward to watching her music videos with the mute button on.

Interesting cases. The jewelry argument might be a safety hazard. I'm assuming it's not just a cross that is against the rules. They are probably trying to avoid the risk of it catching anywhere. Isn't there clothing she can wear that doesn't expose the necklace? The Muslim veil is a bit odd. Hades did say that it was a particular sect that required the veil, as must muslim women I know only feel the need to cover their hair. That does seem like it's more of a distraction than is warranted, but I think I'll look into the reasons behind viel wearing before I make an opinion.

Revan is now truly officially a guy...
Sounds like the slogan for those bath houses that used to be so popular in San Francisco during the 70's.

Sundin keeps getting it done. Amazing work, how many hat tricks is that lifetime?

Pictures of your Games: Revolutions
Mages can't teleport like that, although there is a blink ability that might work that way. It's not that you CAN'T get up there, it's just that it probably takes a great deal of luck to do so. You also can't unmount from the travel busses. You ride them to the end, except the Zeppelins and boats, which aren't in that area.

Pictures of your Games: Revolutions
The problem isn't so much being up there, it's the fact that no one else can figure out how to get there and deal with him. Funnily enough, this comic just addressed that issue. http://www.thenoobcomic.com/daily/strip218.html

NHL
A lot of the sportswriters trashed the Sharks for not making many moves in the offseason, but I think Grier is a huge addition. He gives the PK unit real experience. Brown is also looking reborn after a tough year in Chicago. I know the Sharks still need a more experienced defenseman, but there is no rush. They've got the offense to overcome rookie mistakes, and eventually someone will be willing to trade for Nabakov or Toskala. Oh yeah, Erhoff put in another, I hope you fantasy folks picked him up when I said to.

I just watched Daniel Sedin score a beauty of a goal. He squeezed that puck into a tiny little spot and rang it off both bars.

I'm downloading the NWN2 toolset, since I preordered it today. I'm not sure why, as I'm a lousy builder.

I agree. I speak a lot of geek languages, but Warhammer isn't one of them. It's totally confusing.

What the heck happened to Nabokov?

Seems like a crazy game so far. Both teams had long stretches where they dominated the other. I'm glad to see Cheechoo has finally started the season.

Christian Erhoff also has two goals for the Sharks, and will likely have a career year. He's always shown flashes of offensive brilliance, but about halfway through last year he started playing solid D every night, and his ice time has skyrocketted. *edit* I once saw Brad Stuart score two goals in 30 seconds. It was the last game of the season, and the Sharks were down by 2 with about 2 minutes left. The building was emptying and suddenly Stuart struck twice. They won in OT. Still, he's a bit inconsistent, but he's a great addition for Boston. His offensive moments are a bit spotty, but he's also solid on D.

I'm sure the expectations are higher with marquee talent.

Smith TV show
Anyone catch the TV show "Smith" with Ray Liotta? I was enjoying it and they cancelled it 3 episodes in. It seems like a waste, I'm sure that cast wasn't cheap, but it was bringing in over 8 million viewers. Anyways, there's a petition here if anyone is interested. They could at least finish the season out, it had some solid storylines. Oh yeah, it had the guy from Johnny Zero in it. I loved that guy, and I feel pretty bad that he has another show cancelled without even getting a full season out.

Plane crashes into building?
I doubt it, sounds like the guy just got his license and lost control.

Plane crashes into building?
This used to be fairly common near where I live. We have a mall that's close to a small airport, and the mall has been hit about 8 times in the last 40 years.

Does anyone no where I could buy these sunglasses?
I wasn't insulting you by saying they are in the ladies section, that's where they actually are. You see, the flat style of glasses with large lens is really only popular among women. Men's glasses tend to curve back to fit the face. http://www.eyewearpalace.com/product_detail.asp?ProdID=2711

Uh, there's no NPC interaction in BG1, at least in comparison to BG2. They'll have little voiced interactions that don't stop the game. One character telling the other that they shouldn't be so evil, etc. Having also played BG2 first, it makes the game seem bare And there are plenty NPCs from the first game that never made it into the second one in a playable capacity, unfortunately. You accidentally murder Ajantis in the Windspear Hills, and Xan/Montaron are obviously killed by the Harpers. Quayle becomes Aerie's adopted father ("uncle", whatever) and settles down, Tiax is imprisoned in Spellhold, one of the bards (never used him) is killed by a werewolf in one of the forest maps around Suldanesslar, another of the bards I believe is mentioned by somebody to have written a song about you. Dynaheir and Khalid are murdered by Irenicus. Viconia and Edwin are still playable, as are Jaheira and Minsc, obviously. I guess the "canon" BG1 party consisted of the PC, Imoen, Minsc, Dynaheir, Jaheira and Khalid. Pretty similar to what I used, actually, except I replaced Khalid right off the bat. There are probably a few I'm missing I've been trying to install the banter mod for BG1tutu, but it's not working <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I remember Jaheira died very early to an Ogre in BG for my game. I mean she really died too, like bits and pieces all over the place. Khalid was a bit broken up, but he was actually a lot more tolerable after a bit. I think he does better without that bossy bitch in his life.

NHL
I just played a frustrating game in real life. We were down 1-0. The refs had already disallowed one goal of ours because of an early whistle. With 50 seconds left, I broke free and was in alone. As I put the puck in, I heard a whistle. I knew something was wrong, and when I turned around the far ref was waving off the goal. I guess our goalie headed to the bench when I started my break, and our extra skater jumped on before he reached the wall. The ref gave us a penalty and brought the puck back to center ice. I was so teed off, it's a frickin' lower divisional game with no bench coaches. They should let us play the game instead of completely changing the outcome. We lost 2-0 after an empty net goal.
