Missing Black Isle
This really doesn't need to be in computer and console. It's just a trollish post by a person who hasn't even played the game, and we already have plenty of Fallout talk in other threads.

Pictures of your games
Wearing a bike helmet eh? I look very swank in my business suit, courtesy of Mr. Burke. But I'm too dumb to take screenshots.

Suggestions for NWN2 NX3
I would really be surprised if they continued working with NWN2 at all. They've got two other projects that are rapidly moving towards completion (Alpha Protocal 2009, Aliens 2010?) and it's probably time to get to work on their next project, which I doubt will be a NWN project (although it might be D&D.)

What are you playing now?
It would not have been held to such a high standard if it had been Fallout: Wastelands instead of Fallout 3, as people would not have been as quick to compare it to the original two games - just as Tactics is not demonized for drifting. Tactics was also not really a story-based game. It was mostly a combat simulator with a very haphazard plot thrown in to link the missions. Fallout 3 continues where 1 and 2 left off, a lone person heading off into the wasteland to achieve greatness.

Fallout 3
I'm just wondering why there aren't that many kids running around. you'd think the biological imperative to reproduce would be pretty hefty after an apocolypse but meh. of course with the number of rads that you get I'm just wondering if everyone is sterilized, (currently is passing the 400 mark because he hasn't been able to find his way back to a doctors house or anything while doing the main questline.) I was thinking the same thing. With the apparent 'respawn' rate, humanity should be pretty much dead by now. Where do little raiders come from? Spontaneous birth from the very waste itself? It's like in real life when I drive down the street and young thugs spontaneously spawn on the road. The drop a foot or two to the ground and start walking in random directions. Surprisingly, that is explained in game is you visit Big Town (or Big People Town?)

They make you pay to watch hockey games? Wow, in the US, they are a step away from paying people to watch.- Games you are looking forward to
Clear Sky or SoC? Just the standard SoC. Gametap is only $10 a month, so I imagine Clear Sky is still a bit too new to be given away on their service.- Fallout 3
I believe you can turn bloom off.- Games you are looking forward to
I just found out STALKER is coming to Gametap next month. I'm pretty excited about that, I always meant to pick it up, and now I don't have to.- Fallout 3 First Impressions
Best Buy credit card for teh win. Sorry pixies. It's worth it.- Fallout 3 First Impressions
I also don't think the Elder Scrolls comparison is wrong. The game plays like a Bethesda title. If you absolutely hate the ES games, this won't win you over. However it does seem to be the best of their titles to date. Morrowind and Oblivion were enjoyable to me, but I definitely recognized they had major faults. Fallout 3 fixes many of those faults, and that is something I recognized in just a couple hours. The dialogue and characterization is better, the world has a unique atmosphere and doesn't seem repetitive (yet) and the VATS is actually pretty entertaining. So if you were a Fallout fan but hated Bethesda style RPG's, you are probably going to be unhappy. However if you are fans of both, then this game is a must-by.- Fallout 3 First Impressions
Have you finished it already? Nah, but I never finished the second one, and I'm still comfortable throwing out my two cents on it. . . . . . . I'm really not being completely serious here, I'm just trying to balance out all the ridiculous negativity with some ridiculous positivity. It's a very good game so far, it definitely has captured the atmosphere of the Fallout universe, and Bethesda clearly put a lot of care into it. I honestly don't think you can compare the first two with this one, I think it's silly to try. They are from different era's. Fallout 3 is a fantastic modern game, and anyone who complains about it not being a true Fallout game is only robbing themselves of a chance to enjoy it for what it is.- Fallout 3 First Impressions
Fallout 3 is definitely better than the originals. I'm not saying the originals aren't great, but they pale in comparison. It's like comparing the first two Batman movies with the more recent ones. Sure, Michael Keaton was excellent, but Christian Bale has modernized the franchise. Anyone who disagrees is a bitter old dinosaur. The game is a work of art and deserves 11 out of 10.- We did WHAT!?
Hildegard makes very good sense.- I have a question...
Wouldn't that be the Big Bang Theory?- Fallout 3 First Impressions
I broke down and bought it, mostly because I needed a new lunchbox. This game is great so far. I just left the vault. It's better than the originals by a mile.- Zero Punctuation - Yahtzee reviews
Did you buy it? I've actually heard very solid reviews from everybody, calling it a silly version of GTA that is just charming.- Fallout 3
Damn you people. I really need to wait to buy this game. Please stop talking about it.- Movies you have seen recently
Spies Like Us rules! No way that should be on the stinker list.- We did WHAT!?
Saddam was pretty much a total prick. He was uncooperative and he liked to egg the US on. I'm not saying that's a justification for invasion, I'm just saying Saddam did absolutely nothing to keep it from happening. It seemed like he thought the US was bluffing when they threatened invasion, because he really did everything he could to be an a-hole to the US.- Fable 2 scores 10/10 on Eurogamer...
The internet has definitely diluted the media, and there really are too many gaming mags, and they tend to cater to the lowest common denominator. - NHL
