The world must be filled with angsty teenagers, because this movie is a monster hit in every way.

I am a huge fan of Star Wars and the most recent movie, but some of you spend way too much time thinking about this stuff. Take it less seriously, it is space fantasy. You will enjoy it more.

I think we all have our moments where we lose out temper with kids. Kids are basically **** when they are 4-5. Don't get too down on yourself about it. The nice thing is they will continue to get older, and even though it will bring new issues, it will also bring cool moments where you can connect with them. My daughter and I clash all the time, but she was still the one I took to see the new Star Wars and I think that will be with us both for a long time.

It's not entirely that simple. First off, you are probably using the vents if you are a sneaky guy like me that wants to go into places I probably shouldn't. So just crawling out of any old vent is a good way to get killed. Also, the vent system I gave up in stretched across multiple maps. edit: I'm really not complaining all that much. I enjoyed the game and may give it another go with a different build and more knowledge.

Well I'm sure I could have made my way out at some point, but it seemed like a fairly endless duct system, and I was in over my head. I'm ok with it, though.

I got lost in a ventilation shaft system and gave up. It was pretty cool for awhile though.

Gonna be a mellow one around here, I'm enjoying a Stone Ruination and I open ed a bottle of wine for my wife, and the kids are playing video games.

It's more about attention span. I just watched a 3 hour Tarantino film that was slow as heck, but I'm an adult, and I can handle that. A Star Wars movie as a rule needs to be accessible to a new generation, and you typically don't get that when your movies are super long. I'd argue that Lord of the Rings is aiming for an older audience, one that can read the fairly hefty books.

Hateful 8 - It was a lot like Reservoir Dogs. It was very good, although not quite at the top of my Tarantino list (Django Unchained keeps that honor.)

Well congrats for you people and your strong bladders. Seriously though, the film needs to appeal to a new generation. Making it 3 hours is a good way to lose that. I was fairly surprised that both my children stuck it out to the end, but you add another half hour and they might as well make it two movies.

As a whole, I think this might be the greatest reboot of a classic franchise I have seen. Jagged Alliance failed, and while I enjoy Fallout a bit, it isn't anything close to the original. I have more confidence in XCom than anything else going forward.

Well thank goodness for that, the film was already too long.

It wasn't one of the powerful moments from the movie, sure, but really all it is supposed to do is set the stage for the big weapon to fire. The real important moments for me were how they handled the one on one character interactions, and I thought those were great. Was Moff Tarkin a better character? Sure. But they are still minor characters in the grand scheme, so who really cares?

Xcom is probably my biggest one for now, given that it is pretty close. I expect to play it nonstop for a couple weeks.

Hmm, I always have trouble remembering what I played in the calendar year. I also typically don't finish a game until a year or two after I get it. For example, Dead State and Wasteland 2 were the two games I really pushed through and finished this year. Dragon Age Inquisition also took me awhile to finally commit to. I haven't even finish Pillars of Eternity. I'd probably give my game of the year award to Wasteland 2 Director's Cut, but that's because it is the freshest game in my mind I felt was worth finishing. Invisible Inc. and Dead State Reanimated come in tied for 2nd.

Kylo is called the master of the Knights of Ren, so he was clearly up there in the training. But it's just a movie folks.

ESO has improved some good stuff since I last visited. It's also remarkably busy. I like that I've got a lot of company as I tackle quests and anchor points. I'm only in the early levels right now, but that is nice to see.

Yeah, once you hit Los Angeles, the game moves rather quickly. All the hubs are small and easy to navigate. Edit: I'm giving Elder Scrolls Online another go. There are some good improvements since I played it a year ago.

That is total BS. You are reading racist crap into something that is just not there. All that really matters is if these people can act, and they can.

I should probably point out that the Death Star is a mobile weapons platform, while the sun sucking planet is stationary and probably highly unstable. Cool, it worked once, but had the impression the odds of it just blowing up where pretty high. Not that it should really matter. This is a fantasy universe with space magic. Trying to apply logic and science to it is a good way to kill the entertainment factor.

Hah, I think it is awesome that some people read unlimited time and money as not having to work, and some people read it as immortality.

I'm sure I would do some charitable stuff. But really I'd buy some land, build a cool looking castle type structure, grow hops and barley, and run my own microbrewery. I'd bring on a few friends I have to market it and the actual brewing process. I'd also build a mobile taproom and take it to different events around the city. Oh and I'd buy a Tesla. I wouldn't buy a stable of cars, but that is the one I would like to own.

I do not really consider Bill Nye a youtube personality. I grew up with his scoence lessons.
