Something a monk can equip in a weapon slot that works together with their unarmed attacks and provides some bonus, like extra dmg, on hit effect, or added dmg type maybe? Finding new gear is fun and it's a shame monk players don't get to look forward to finding a new weapon the same way others players do. I know monks can use other weapons but the fists are just so cool

While we are sort of on the subject. I really hate it when you enter a dungeon and the name of the map is something like random dungeon name lvl 1. I don't want to know that there is a second level until I find the way down. It kind of spoils it a bit.

Resolved to fix Resolve!
This is a really good idea. There could be a charge mechanic where you need to build up enough charge to earn a free empower during the fight. I like this idea a lot! It allows for a nice linear progression where every point of resolve gives X% additional charge build up. Also it solves another problem. Which is all classes except monk, cipher and chanter being sort of top heavy where you use up all of your spells and abilities early and are left with just auto attack in longer fights.

Ciphers - focus fills up too slow?
That is from Josh's tumblr blog today. So it seems ciphers will be getting some love. Which is great since they are by far my favorite class.

The cipher power reaping knives used to stack with trans. and novice suffering in POE1 before it was patched. I thought it was really cool so I modded it back in It was simply a matter of opening the file for the summoned weapon and setting the variable for attack type to the value corresponding to unarmed I think.

Should Might stay multiplicative or return to additive?
I think it should be kept as multiplicative for one simple reason. It's easy to understand. If it says DMG is increased a certain amount. It really should be that amount and not some additive value that you need a calculator to figure out. Anything else would be unfair to the casual players that don't spend all their time on this forum If the DMG is currently too high then that is just a balancing issue. Lower the amount of DMG per point of STR if you have to, but don't obfuscate the mechanics.

devoted and universal weapons
I guess that would be a question of how it's implemented. If I was designing the system I would make the modal a feature of the weapon and not the proficiency. So if you have proficiency in that weapon class, you can use the modal for that particular weapon. That would allow you to create more powerful and/or unique modals for high end gear, and it would allow for universal weapons like in POE1 where any proficiency would do. That would be kind of cool.

Reaping Knives and Novice's Suffering synergy
I really liked the way novice's suffering used to stack with the cipher power reaping knives. Unfortunately this was patched out with 3.02 I think. I would really like to mod it back in I've gotten as far as opening px2_reaping_knives_weapon.unity3d in UABE. In the biggest MonoBehavior I found the value int WeaponType = 6. Could changing this to whatever value corresponds to unarmed attacks work? Does anyone know what that might be? Or am I way of base here? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Edit: I figured it out If you open px2_reaping_knives.unity3d in UABE there is a MonoBehavior Base with a size of 368 bytes. At the end of that monobase you will find the variable UInt8 Unarmed = 0. Setting that to 1 did the trick! I followed this excellent guide on how to go about changing the value.

I'm trying to fight the adra dragon and I've read about some dragon slayer NPC that teaches your character the scale breaker talent. Where do I find this guy? /Olle
