If Game Companies were real life friends.

The Secret Life of Walter Witty. A very untypical Ben Stiller piece, but probably the best one of his career. It's a travel/personal development movie, that focus on the need to escape or staying in the present. Not really great by any standards - a good feel good movie, that's pretty stupid at times, but always endearing.

I wish it was a joke.. 12 Monkeys TV Movie Remake.

Fate of The World. Managed to do 3 controlled marked crashes, in order to wane the world off coal, oil and then gas. Everything went better than expected, with the ironic side effect that Russia became the world superpower with a HDI nearing the 0,99 and became the greenest and freest nation in the world by 2180, pretty much singlehandedly taking the world into the 23 century peacefully and with some pretty advanced nanotech. America suffered pretty badly and ended up a sorta gun-tooting paranoid social democracy, but started swinging back and came up to 0,87 again (after going down to almost 0,77). All in all I managed to keep the temperature change at 2,8 degrees above pre-industrial and had the world running on 100% renewable energy. With all meat produced artificially and almost no agriculture, so all current farmland had become forests again (with a good deal of artificial trees that absorbed CO²). That's a world I'd like to live in.

The Grand Budapest Hotel. What a marvelous experience. If you're a Wes Anderson fan and you've missed it. Go see it at once.

From Imgur; "I'm from Belgium. Last time we defended that badly against the Germans, we lost our country for 5 years."

Back from Roskilde Festival - saw Rolling Stones, Outkast, Stevie Wonder, Rob Zombie, Arctic Monkies, Kasbian and a load of bigger and smaller international bands. Awesome.. One of the funnier experiences were a traditional Rajasthani band that incorporated modern elements, like beatboxing - on a mouth harp. Couldn't find a good example, but here's a taste of it. Also, in the pit with Major Lazer and Rob Zombie... That was hilarious - except mosh pits have their consequences

To some extent, it's a lot of smaller improvements, that when they come togehter make the whole better.. Their use of ideas are more original than in Eu3 so nations seem very differentiated now. Trade is also more complicated now with the new expansion. I'd say it's more like a really really good expansion on Eu3 so at a discount it's worth it.

Ah yes Iceland, speaking of urine.. last I was there I made sure to put the Gold in Gulfoss.. But seriously, it's a beautiful country - Go to the Blue Lagoon and make sure you go see the Divide and not just stay in the south west.

Got totally annoyed at the enduring thunderstorms, students and crazy parties.. Man, what's my age again? I made myself a White Russian and decided to go crash the party downstars! I'm not gonna be one of those old gu zzzz....
-
No drama, I love getting older. I always felt that age brought freedom from behavioral norms. Or at least an acceptable plurality... It's just the switch from 2 to 3. Like 2010s instead of single digits.

Cleaning up after a big party - I'm turning 30 tomorrow! But seriously that's kinda a strange thought heh

Bought myself a Nexus 10, first tablet and I really like it so far. It feels very Star Trekky.

It's cool to think that CD Project's continued success might spearhead an entire generation of young Polish deveopers coming to the gaming industry.. I hope eastern Europe takes this to heart - there's plenty of room for them to innovate in.

It's not too often one gets to hang out with the old gang, so I say go..

But won't it just be 99,999% useless filler then? I can't imagine the game having more than 10.000 meaningful systems. I mean sure it's fairly realistic and all, even doubly so - but is that good in a game?
