  1. they actually proved that it was very unhealthy to take that approach (DaVinci sleeping hours) because you need a minimum of 2-3 hours of sleep before you start to benfit from it! but lack of sleep can give some very creative, although pretty f***** up, ideas! guess that's how he invented so many things/concepts! I mean no sane (and well rested) person would write laterally reversed ..
  2. .. Guess I forgive you then .. just don't let it happen again! well I said I would stop coming too, but I can't hehe .. guess I'm addicted as well, and suffering from a sleeping disorder! been up all night .. Sleeping is for old(er) people!!
  3. I hope to enter the ruins of the acadmy and locate the archives that was deprived from me in the first game .. To study the dangerous holocrons within!
  4. yeah I did the exactly same thing .. I got mopped so bad .. had to quick save and load constantly to gain an extra attack before Malak could react! (if you save while he is attacking then he will stand still if you load) Sentinel will probably be a good choice for first play through this time around, because of the apparent heavy emphasis on skills! And Laozi, I thought you said you would stop coming from today?
  5. my second game is the one I remember best .. because I didn't know anything about the game first time I played (or the feats or rules etc), so I almost couldn't complete it because my character was so weak (I was a male scout/consular LS) .. But the second time around I had become accustomed to the various elements of the game, so my character was much stronger, and I knew the storyline and really began to explore all of the sidequests! it has been to this day, my longest game! I was scoundrel/consular and LS .. my other favorite is my DS scoundrel/consular female playthrough .. I was so evil!! love the scene: the final approach to the Starforge when the Republic wants to withdraw, and my DS chick slowly shakes her head in disapproval and gives a little evil smile! hehehe
  6. That's because first of all you're an idiot. And second...nah, that pretty much covers it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> haha .. man.. let me guess you didn't get laid today? you always seemed pissed at newbies.. haha
  7. He didn't mean the race Sith, but the fact that all "new" Sith seemed to be human .. and no other species were apperantly a big part of the Empire!
  8. suppose your right .. but still, even though I used dual wielding most of the time in KOTOR and will do the same in TSL, I still want it to be a little more difficult to master! it's only fair for those who like to go classic ..
  9. I'm begining to get a grudge against X-Box.. the new Revenge of The Sith VG will only be released on consoles! I'll be picking up my edition of KOTOR 2 as soon as it hits the shelves in Denmark!
  10. Harry Potter could kick everyones ass ...
  11. I'll be using 500 sabers which I will keep swirling around me .. that'll show everyone! :D
  12. and if you believe in that medichlorian thing, then having his body partially destroyed would aslo severly reduce his M-count .. so he wouldn't have that much force power!? since they reside in cells ..
  13. I've been training dual wielding for a couple of years now through my martial arts training ... So I'm getting the hang of it, but it's still so very difficult! all what Laozi said is true especially if you use two equally long swords .. you have to use a small and very balanced blade in your off-hand! and you have to use alot of spinning and swirling around to get the advantage of two attack points (if thats what you want, which it normally isn't) .. my main sword is about 85-90 cm (curved) and my offhand sword is about 30-40 cm (straight) .. the general idea is to use your second sword as a replace shield, with the occasional attack you can have with it, you use the off one for defence and parry and the main for attacks when you have locked the opponents with a parry! and the art of doing it involves alot of complicated stances! so when you start out you will be very stiff and rely heavily on your stances, which can really give you a disadvantage if your opponent knows them! but it only gets really f***** when you are fighting two people from each side!! I can't even imagine the skill it would require to do that properly without a great good deal of luck .. So yeah 213374U a high DEX modifier is a big requirement! as well as a high awarness! and definitely more feats spent on it .. and then only very few would use it! (since most wannabes would be killed off before they became any good at it! ) Maybe this discussion should've taken place back when it could've been a real suggestion instead ..
  14. and that would explain the fact that you would be a 5 year old adult how?
  15. Yes. I think they just stated that they'd be optional this time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> oh thank God! I never understood why they had these minigames in the first place .. they were badly done and totally irrelevant! and they should've used the time on more story related things imo! fortunately they were optional after Taris ..
  16. I havent fought with dual wield in real life but i imagine it require a great deal of cordination, focus, Discipline and agility to fight effectively with as opposed to single style. While some say they see no reason why dual wield/bladed should suffer for choosing that, it doesnt seem fair that single style require just as many feat and still is less effective than dual wield, I could understand this is dual was harder to master or cost more to attain, but i think its really single style that is punished for gaining less at same point cost. EDIT: maybe making single style possible to use like Bastard sword in AD&D, where you could choose to use it as either single or 2handed mode where 2handed mode inflict more dmg. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know if it requires dicipline (well maybe during training! ), but definitely concentration, agility and a good deal of perception (if figthing someone else)! maybe use 4-5 feats to master it fully .. because everyone proficient with a single blade has an advantage over you until you learn to control your every move very precisely! it takes alot of balance .. and while you can have more attacks, he can move faster and get you out of balance, and strike when you are at your weakest! that's my experiance at least ..
  17. Maybe they should've added the feat "ambidextrous" .. and you should only be able to use dual ligtsabers effectively if you have the feat! and it could cost 2 feast or something? I have been fencing for a while, and I'm not ambidextrous so I know how hard it is to use two swords .. VERY hard .. although Jedis do have the force to guide them! you automatically use the forms when using Lightsabers right? so naturally you must use a form, even if you wield a double or dual ligthsaber(s) .. Some could be restricted of course!
  18. + not to mention the fact that hes lvl 20 .. which is a mad thing in it's own right in the SW universe! I don't think there are alot of Mandalorians out there who could challenge him .. But I for one don't hope he is Mandalore! I never liked him that much, and would also like a new bunch of characters .. and if he would join you in TSL, you would have to explain why he's no longer lvl 20 (unless you can only have him in your party when your 20+) ..
  19. okay well let's get the fact straight then .. * Taris is in the Outer Rims, apperantly of no strategic value, and a dying world! * Taris has been under Sith control for a few months! * The Endar Spire seems to travel alone with Revan and Bastilla onboard. * The Endar Spire is supposedly ambushed, otherwise Bastilla would've used her Battle Meditation. * The frigate is under Jedi command, which means it's probably undetakin a mission from the Jedi Council. *It says somewhere that it was a small Jedi battlegroup trying to take on Malaks forces to stop his evil reign. (probably meaning trying to take on Malak personally) I can't remember if Malak was near Taris, or he came later when he heard that Bastilla was stranded!? because if he was "on" Taris, then perhaps the Jedis were scouting the Outer Rim, with Revan to try and discover what he and his apprentice had found back in the Mandalorian wars .. when they heard Malak was personally aboard a ship orbiting Taris, and without his fleet to protect him, they thought they could end the war there and then! just speculations ..
  20. I don't think you can get it where I live .. :D
  21. It's not really a matter of being persuasive .. just knowing what to say and when to say it! don't worry it's not that hard!
  22. no the Ithorians are the "hammerheads" the wierd aliens with the wierd voices .. edit: I don't think they would want those guys you mentioned (I can't remember what they are called) monitering the planet! I mean they are bloodthirsty, crazy, psychopathic .. evil .. mother******* .. they're bad ok!
  23. You guys should get your own apartments! that way noone wants to use your TV/PC ..
  24. Like I said, I think that this was the will of the force, I'm sure the council meditated a great deal on what they should do and this was the force showed them <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok I thought you were just being a smartass stating the obvious! sorry ..
