I think i agree with you on this. It stayed so long becuase the "new" religions: kriistendom, islam and the rest were perfect for people with power and becuase they gave people hope. But now, we don't need them. People just don't realise that. no they were perfect becaust the reversed nature .. and made man feel superior! weak became strong, strong became weak .. those who look after each other are rewarded, while those who sacrifice themselves in pure nature get's nothing but death for it .. you could argue it's a system of control for those in power, but that's just because of people again, not the religion since it implies love and respect for life .. Religion is as needed as ever, since our society is becoming increasingly nihilistic .. People need something to cling their hopes too, this is as relevant as ever! but I would agree with you, if what you meant was that religion needs to reinvent it self to suit modern society ..

it's wrong to blame religion for the problems of humanity! only people are to blame for that .. religion is fundamentally a good thing, which tried to bring out the best in us! but some people use it wrong! but that is not religions fault! and Obi-Wan Kenobi, my exsitence is a result of evolution .. my purpose of life is simply life it self, there is no higher meaning dictating our lives .. I believe in the ultimate free will!

I'm not Christian .. so I don't see Jesus as anything but a interesting person who did some strange things about 2000 years ago .. and Jesus would probably be a little cranky if he saw that his birth is reduced to being more about consumerism than celebrating his birth!

I would prefer a brand new game .. set such a long time after KOTOR and TSL that they won't need to be too specifik about what happened in the first 2 games! I wouldn't like expansions, because I don't think the story is made with that in mind .. and it's pretty hard to do 100% properly with 4 different endings to choose from all in all (if they take KOTOR in to account) .. So 1-2-3 years and a brand new game

I don't like Christmas .. and I hate the fact that they are trying to promote American holidays in Denmark!! what do we need Thanksgiving and St. Valentines Day for?? we never had any pilgrims eat turkey with Indians or whatever they did .. just stupid! holidays lost their significance a long time ago ..

I wouldn't go so far as to say "lesser quality" .. that's being a bit hard on the poor X-Boxers!

I've always prefered the PC .. I find a mouse and keyboard easier to handle and gives more freedom imo.. especially in RPG games and FPS, but I prefer a controller for fightgames which I never play on PC .. the graphics isn't the issue for me, but I prefer a higher resolution!

no it's simply the end of their calendar .. a conjunction in which the winter solstice sun reaches the Galactic Equator and the ecliptic, what the ancient Maya recognized as the Sacred Tree .. and it starts over.. that's how I understood it at least! I never heard anything or anyone saying that it was a sign of the end of the world

as mentioned, I think the Chronicles exist to give a better understanding of the events that lead to KOTOR1 and then KOTOR2 .. and to give a "false" sense of new info .. so we stop nagging them!

It took me about 40 hours on my first playthrough .. didn't play pazaak or swoop racing .. but admired the enviroment alot and spend alot of time in dialouge with everyone I could get near! completed every sidequest I could get near .. except for some of my NPC's quets, didn't use all of them ..

the score from the movie Solaris .. love that .. ambient .. mmm but anything grand classical by John Williams made for SW would be fine too I guess!

The two opposing leaders were meeting for the last time and a dreadful silence fell across the conference table as the leader of the Vlahourd, resplendent in his black jewelled battle shorts, glazed levity at the Gergontan leader, and challenged the vile creature to take back what he had said about his mother! The creature stirred in his sickly fuming vapour, and at that very moment the words "I seem to be having this tremendous difficulty with my lifestyle" drifted across the conference table.. Unfortunately in the Vlahourd tongue this was the most dreadful insult imaginable! and there was nothing for it, but to wage terrible war! Eventually of course it was realized that the whole thing had been a ghastly mistake, so the two opposing battle fleets settled their few remaning differences, in order to launch a joint attack on the PC's galaxy.. now positively identified as the source of the offending remark! for many years the fleet tore across the empty waste of space, and finally dived screaming onto the planet Korriban .. where, due to a terrible miscalculation of scale, the entire battle fleet was accidentally swallowed by a small dog! that's why the Sith don't like you .. I think .. ps. an homage to "The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy"

One thing that was missing a bit from KOTOR imo .. You heard that Malak was Revans best friend, and that's why he fell along side him! I wished they would've played a little more on that .. I mean, facing your former best friend gone evil(even though you lost your memory) ..
