Both humans and cylons are starting to act erratic and dangerous. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's gonna end with everyone killing each other.. Either that or the writers will pull some "Lost" deux ex machina event and everyone lives happily ever after.

Yes it's pretty cool, although it's getting quite complicated.. Hard to keep track of it all.. Is Faraday like eternally jumping through time or something - seems he's been everywhere.

Finished Mirror's Edge - and I really loved it! I am a fan of that kind of self tortur though (the old NES platforming kind). But after a short while I got used to the mechanics, the only thing that really bothered me was that sometimes I couldn't really figure out where to go. Combat was cool though and I didn't find it gimped like most people seem to say, I thought the guns handled quite realistically for a skinny girl with no weapons training. Even so I often took out one SWAT dude and used his guns to kill the rest.. Even made some pretty cheesy 80'es moves, where I would slide past a gun, grab it and start shooting John Woo style..

Just got upgraded to a ~50mbit myself.. man it's sweet to surf at that speed.. (technically I'm sharing a 100mbit with about 30 people - but I have download speeds around 6mb/s any time a day) - On topic: I don't trust EA to have my best interest in heart with this.. In fact I wouldn't trust anyone to have my best interest.. but, like TVs or PCs, if different companies were producing the same console, or different versions of the same console (but all games still working on it) - I could see it work.

I guess it's a matter of playing style - I always liked trying to work through the maze of 3.5E figuring out how to get a specific feat / prestige class and still try to roleplay without powergaming.. Which, let's face it - D&D really leans towards. But it's an interesting idea, I especially agree with your attempt to remove the "blandness" of the classes that was introduced in 4E.

I was kinda wondering the same thing -

I knew just saying "Cylons" would cause confusion - sorry I wasn't clear. I was trying to point of the difference between the Cylons we first encountered - the numbered kind - and the Earth Kind. So I'm gonna refer them as "Numbers" and "Terrans" from now on just to avoid confusing myself. But I was just openly wondering why the Terrans were individual in their design, while the Numbers were clones. Actually I just had a crazy idea.. Maybe it's like a modern Philip K. **** interpretation of the Old Testamente.. It's actually still 2000 years ago and the whole repitition is actually just because they are stuck in an gnostic illusion by the demiurge (Lords of Kobold or maybe the Cylon God).

Interesting theory - We know the The Final Five are/were unique - there weren't hundreds of copies, we saw that on Earth. While it's the opposite with the "regular" Cylons. So there's obviously something fundementally different about the "Earth Faction" - especially given that Saul could impregnate Six and that they age. I think the idea that they are like a cross between Humans and Cylons are quite probable - something like Baltar and Six's child. The "legacy" of the first human/cylon war.
