  1. ^ I was wondering that too.. Isn't it really mirroring life more correctly that true romance is hard to achieve - talking for 4 hours straight, eating candlelight dinner in the moonlight etc etc.. would be horribly boring in a game.. Does a man and a woman always have to get it on, just because they've gone through alot together.. Like they do in films..
  2. and what happened to Caprica 6's (or whatever they called her) "mind Baltar"? I thought that relationship (Real Baltar and Real 6 vs Mind Baltar and Mind 6) was quite interesting.. Especially that they seemed so vastly different.
  3. hehe.. It's part of the coding - there's a much higher chance that cars, similar to the one you are driving, will spawn.
  4. Cthulu anyone? That aside I definitely think that this is the best picture. "John Kolesidis, a Reuters photographer based in Greece, has won the second prize of the People in the News Singles category with this photo of anti-government riots in Athens"
  5. Wouldn't that kinda ruin the entire point of being judged by ones peers?
  6. Haystacks were very sturdy back in the 10th century! Due to the enourmous amount of cow feces, which made it extra spungy.
  7. I think it's something everyone has to experience and go through - So far I haven't met anyone (good friends) who didn't tell me that they've felt like that at least one time in their life and quite few had gone through it more than once.. I went through a similar phase about 3 years ago and today I'm glad I did - it gave my a new depth (insight wise) to life. Although I couldn't tell you how to get through it - except to ride the storm and have someone close to you at hand who knows how you feel - to catch the dangerous personality trends before they get a grip.
  8. Aww.. That means the Alien RPG is set later in 2010.
  9. Ugh, that would've ruined it for me.. I thought it was much more interesting that you intially started with all abilities unlocked - in fact I was really dissapointed that they took them all away after the first mission. The Prince of Persia approach is much more appealing to me in these kind of games.. (I haven't played PoP, but I heard that you start with all abilities and then you have to discover them yourself) RPGs and their levelling systems are great too, I just don't like to merge them with action adventure games.
  10. I think it because of the fact that you can murder random people, undress them and then pull their death bodies around.
  11. No I don't like the premise either, it sounds kinda like an Orange County Sci Fi..
  12. The side missions were quite lackluster and I found them awfully boring, but I didn't have a problem with the main story at all, and unlike Pidesco I thought it was interesting - sure it was a bit pretentious, but most games/films/books are really. But I especially like the combat for much the same reason as Darth Jebus - although I wished that Altair could be killed more easily, at times I felt like an immortal due to the almost endless sync bar.
  13. If we could only convince the English to drive on right side, the Americans to use the metric system and Celcius calculations and all the other odd balls to fall in line.. maybe.. just maybe.. we could finally have peace on Earth.
  14. According to IMDB, there's 6 left. Episode 14 was when Gaeta and Zarek were shot. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407362/episodes#season-4 It says so on SCIFI.COMs website
  15. **** - glad you made it.
  16. Celcius makes sense - 0 is freezing 100 is boiling.. and Farenheit From wiki: "The zero point is determined by placing the thermometer in a mixture of ice, water, and ammonium chloride, a salt. This is a type of frigorific mixture. The mixture automatically stabilizes its temperature at 0
  17. I think he was referring to his rather imminent death. I don't think he down(up?)loaded to a new body because the cylons don't really have any spare 5s lying around as far as I can tell.
  18. They have alot of different reactions to things - depending on the situation - mostly in in-between areas like the elevator in No Mercy.
  19. Neither did I.. But it makes perfect sense given Miles abilities and his reaction to the time jumping.
  20. Most nothern europeans don't know how to handle warm weather - during the day we open up all windows and then proceed to wonder why it's like a frying pan inside in the evening - if we instead open the windows, but closed the shutters, we could get the breeze but not all the warmth, which would make a pleasent temperature in the evening. And the most foolish thing to do when it's 35+ is to take your clothes off - it's much more comfortable to put on 2 layers which are long and very thin. Much like the Indians and Pakistani people do. The thing is the sun and wind warms your skin if you take your clothes off, which makes it feel much more hot than it is.
  21. But at the same time it's more comfortable to be lying in a slight breeze in 30+ sommer (and be too hot) than in your bed with the heat turned up and still freezing. Although I love winter I prefer summer more ... freezing sucks.
  22. Yeah, it really is much more fun to play the game with people you know you can depend on. I've joined a group called Looking 4 difference, with people who value teamplay and fairness - it's actually great to play with random people you know will play fair and is just looking for a good time.
  23. Amen.. I was in the Sahara desert at one point when the temperatur reached 48 C and I had to sit under shade, with water poured over me just to keep a good temp. We were 4 from nothern Europe and none of us were able to move, speak or even think for that matter..
  24. Actually we go by the Douglas Adams approach; anyone capable of getting themselves elected as a mod should never, under any circumstance, be allowed to be one.

  25. I was playing Left 4 Dead and having a blast, when my girlfriend comes over - now she not a big fan of computer games, especialy violent scary ones.. I swear, the shriek she let out, when she saw the game in action, rivaled anything I've ever heard in any horror game/movie.. If the neighbours heard it, I'm sure they thought she discovered a semi decomposed body down here or something.. Now she won't come over if I'm playing it.. God I love this game.. hahaha Anyone of you had a similar episode or some gaming experience you have to share?
